Aren’t Bama coordinators around as analysts for a couple of years to see how the machine runs before operating it?

Any competent coach can win with a team full of 4/5 star players. When was the last time Saban or any of his coaches made a play. A high school staff could win with the players Alabama has every year.

I don't know man. Kiffin has brought a pretty good offense to OM and Kirby has done well at UGA.

Weird, because the majority of teams with teams full of 4/5 star players do not win at the level Alabama does.

Auburn is going the Tennessee route. Get turned down several times by other coaches, go to there 5th or 6th option at head coach.

A couple of years ago Alabama had more 5 stars than the rest of the SEC combined. I really think the recruiting is better than the coaching. Otherwise how do they loose coaches and still keep winning. Then when these coaches go to other schools without the 4/5 stars they usually fail.

yes and I wouldn't be surprised if Applewhite returned from Arkansas St. if Sarkisian takes another job. I have said since before the season that I think Sarkisian will take another head coaching job after this year.

Dumb question. When was the last time any coach made a play?

It's a brilliant troll. I mean, he just sent Butch back out into the world to ruin another program.

Saban's 23-0 against former assistants. Hell, we need ALL the competition to have one!

I’m sure they’ll be coming for Bo Pelini very soon!
