Anyway, I suppose this makes sense. Actually probably helps Vandagriff, because he would be behind in a 2021 competition with Beck/Mathis as a newcomer. Now if this is going to happen, he can possibly redshirt and then compete in 2022+.

Yea the timeline makes a lot of sense to match up UGA and Daniels

LSU gets one good season out of a QB and thinks everyone forgot about their multiple decades of shitty QB play. Tennessee fans in here trying to talk smack and their whole team has not been relevant in 20 years.

You deflected (incorrectly I might add), but you did not deny the truth of my statement.

Basically, here’s the UGA QB depth chart:

2020: Newman, Bennett, Mathis, Beck (RS), Daniels (RS)

2021: Daniels, Beck, Bennett, Mathis, Vandagriff (RS)

2022: Beck/Vandagriff, Mathis, Stockton (hopeful)

Orgeron has been HC for 3 seasons, Burrow was decent in 2018 and great in 2019?

Why are you bringing up Les Miles' shite?

Also, "multiple decades" is just a falsehood.

He was a run of the mill 4-star HS QB who completed about 50% of his passes and is now being recruited over by his coaching staff.

His team senior year was total trash. Beck basically had to throw on the run every play. Definitely seems he will have an uphill climb o get PT moving forward but I wouldn’t use his HS stats from his senior season as a measuring stick of his ability.

Can’t beat out Slovis. Who cares? Kid doesn’t want to compete. Sounds good for UGA.

My statement has nothing to do with JT Daniels.
However, lets look back at the last SEC Champion, National Champion, 1st Team All-American and Heisman winner who didn't win the starting job before transferring. Your logic is shite.

Don't act like Orgeron had anything to do with it. That offense and Burrow was strictly Brady and now he is gone.

Burrow threw for 3000 yards in 2018 without Brady on a team that had little experience and dropped damn near 10% of his passes.

Nobody said UGA hasn't had great quarterbacks. But we are talking about the Kirby Smart era.You know-NOW. Which is essentially the Les Miles era-where QB careers come to die.

If you're disagreeing that Dawg fans have been sunshine pumping Newman since his transfer was announced then you're wasting your time with me.

Go find someone who might believe you.

So the "only if LSU could get a qb" is not a saying?

Mostly from the mid to late Miles years.

This looks about right, but I think Beck and/or Mathis will transfer by 2021 if Daniels does come to Athens.

And if he does, the ideal situation is he sits this year, plays 1 year, shows he's healthy and turns pro. Vandagriff redshirts that year with 4 games of playing time and takes over as a redshirt freshman.

Don't sleep on MJ Morris as our '22 QB recruit either. It's not Stockton or bust.

Only two starters Smarts ever had both just got drafted. Not sure how many HCs had two starters drafted in their first 4 years but I’m sure it’s a small number.

Two quarterbacks transferred out and flourished. The one who stayed underperformed and got drafted in the fifth round. That's ALL on Kirby Smart. That offense is atrocious and fails every time it faces a quality defense.

Can Kirby change that? Sure. Will he? Who knows. As an LSU fan that endured the Les Miles qb situation, I know about this.
