But Jawga fans told us Jamie Newman would be great.

I thought they already have the best quarterback in the game coming in the guy from Wake Forest?

He will be gone when this kid becomes eligible.

Would make sense as Daniels has to sit a year and would be a 2021 stopgap until the Vandergriff kid has arrives.
2020 - Newman
2021-2022 - Daniels
2023+ - Vandergriff

Very few did. The media is hyping him. And he's here for one year. Daniels would likely sit this year anyways. But I haven't heard that Daniels is connected.

UGA/Smart-where QB's go to kill their careers.

Go read our board about him. There are some obvious trolls on here pumping him up but most of our fans on here aren't. We're more happy to bring in a different style of offense and excited to see what he can do.

Smart guy. This kid was wise to choose monken over Chaney.

I would be shocked if Tennessee was pushing hard at this point seeing as though his waiver almost certainly won't be approved and they'll have a 2nd year Harrison Bailey in 2021.
UGA needs a 2021 QB, Tennessee was hoping for a 2020 QB.

Can’t beat out Slovis. Who cares? Kid doesn’t want to compete. Sounds good for UGA.

No way in hell Vandagriff is gonna sit for 3 yrs waiting to play
The last 5* QB only sat for a half a season before he was ready to leave town
I guess delusional expectations is par for the course with you guys

Seems like everyone has forgotten who Carson Beck is. They wont for long though.

Well he's class of 2021, so he'd only be sitting in 2021 and possibly 2022, which is 2 years.

Correct, but it’s a good thing he wouldn’t have to. He arrives in 2021.

He was a run of the mill 4-star HS QB who completed about 50% of his passes and is now being recruited over by his coaching staff.
I mean he might end up great, but chances are he doesn't.

SummerofGeorge is an Alabama fan.
Anyway, I suppose this makes sense. Actually probably helps Vandagriff, because he would be behind in a 2021 competition with Beck/Mathis as a newcomer. Now if this is going to happen, he can possibly redshirt and then compete in 2022+.

If Kirby can convince him, he does a damn good job.
