No, Florida would also have a better win than Bama and a conference championship.

Last year makes sense of beating Florida but this year you had a much better chance of getting in with the COVID-19 going on and other teams getting eliminated. Only if you had beaten Florida this year. UGA came so close this year!

Even if 3 of the best teams were obviously SEC, there is no way in hell the committee would ever do that, it would cause such a PR nightmare.

2 is the max you'll ever see from one conference.

tOSU has "0" business being ranked in the top 7 as of right now. They are not impressive on defense, at all! Offensively they don't put teams away.

Their schedule so far is way less than stellar. If they get into the CFP'S it will be due to name recognition only!

They've only played "4" games and we're on the ropes to INDIANA! AT HOME, no less!

Clearly, their is a BIG bias going on with the playoff committee members.

My god, do you know how much fun that would be for all of us? And then Venables finally decides to take a job. We can all see his Defense on the downtrend.

Second page, and still nobody has suggested how they would fix it.

If Clemson has two losses, tOSU doesn't get their games in, A&M wins out, and Florida beats Bama, who gets in?

Disagree. If there was ever a year to throw a bone to the non P5 conferences it is 2020.

I could even see both UC and BYU in if they run the table and others falter. Clemson, A&M, and UF all with 2 losses, and OSU with 5 games.

Hell. Why not?

1. Notre Dame - wins ACC championship
2. Florida- wins sec championship
3. Bama
4. Aggie

Clemson out with two losses

OSU out for not playing games

They will put an undefeated G5 team in before they'd even consider 3 teams from the same conference.

A&M deserves in if Bama loses the SECCG. They would have equal losses, a better win, and would have not lost a "play-in" game.

I guess if you ignore A&M's 30 point loss to Alabama

How is beating Alabama a better win than beating Texas A&M when Texas A&M makes the playoff and Alabama doesn't in this scenario? LMFAO Alabama will have beaten a playoff team and Florida won't have.

The team that has the highest chance of fricking this up is aTm. Just a little poor play and the dream is over. No comment about Tennessee but Ole Miss and Auburn could screw this up for the Aggs. So it is almost not worth talking about as of today.

Except for 52-24 Bama head to head. If Bama loses a close game to Florida, no way they drop below 4. It would probably end up Notre Dame at 1 if they beat Clemson again, facing a 4th ranked Bama team. Florida would move to 2 and probably play Cincy or OSU.

Alabama
Florida
Notre Dame
BYU or Cincinnati if they are undefeated.

Sorry but if UF beats Bama they are not putting Aggies in.

They will say a three point home win early in the year is not as strong as Bama beating Aggies by more than 20 or Florida being Bama on a neutral field.

If Florida beats Bama in the SECCG, then Bama should still go over Florida. All Florida would have is a H2H against Alabama H2H is not end-all, be-all. Alabama would be favored in a rematch on a neutral field.

Never mind. I can't read. My apologies.

You can’t be this dumb can you? In no scenario whatsoever would a win over A&M be better than a win over Alabama. We would be talking about 2 1 loss teams one of which beat the other by 30 head to head. I don’t care if they dropped Alabama to 10 and moved A&M to 4. I still won’t be and never will be a better win unless Bama loses out which isn’t happening.

You must be an Old Sarge alter.
