Don't leave out arguably the top true freshman CB in college football. Number 3 ain't doing so bad on the other side.

I know there has been a hundred threads made about him.
He might be the best player in college football that no one is talking about.
Not even saying it’s a lack of publicity, I just think that’s who he is as person.
The team goal will always be more important to him than the individual goal which makes him that much more likable.
Such a breath of fresh air to know that half the field is going to be shut down every game.
At this point QBs would have more success throwing into the ground than throwing towards MD4.
We are very blessed to have this young man and I look forward to watching him every Saturday had the hardest position in football just flat out ball.

CJ Bailey - NC State
6’6 210 has a beautiful deep ball and can run when it’s there.
Little fun fact he was Jeremiah Smith’s QB in HS coming out of Miami.
Has got the Wolfpack 3-0 so far this year with a 84.5 QBR good for 12th in the country.

There should be only one answer. Love Nuss but to truly dominate in college football today you need a true duel thread QB. Jayden was that in spades
On defense I feel like the only thing we truly lack is a game wrecking dominating DT like Glenn.
I think we’d be winning games by 40+ minimum.

That shite gave me straight goosebumps.
Can't wait for this young man to make it on campus.
I truly think he is going to be better than Haven and Nuss and has thus far put up way better numbers than them against much tougher competition.
If he was 6'3 215, he may be the #1 recruit in the country.

This is mind boggling. It seems like it doesn't matter who Coach Baker or Coach Raymond plug in, they all seem to ball.
Man, if only we had a below average defense with JD5 we would have won it all.
No, we had to have 2 of the worse defenses literally of all time at LSU.

It was a special night. The crowd was loud!
I heard someone mention that during the DS10 pick six it was the loudest they have heard it in a long time.
As much as we want to blow out every team we play, it's nice to have the stadium rocking from start to finish in these close games.

The fact that this dude is our 3rd safety just blows my mind. He would be a lot of teams S1 around the league.
I'm still having flashbacks from our safety play from the last 3 years.
It's absolute amazing the 180 coach Baker and Raymond have been able to do on our secondary.
I cannot be happier for this young man, and I hope we start doing more 3 safety looks to get him on the field.
He was the highest graded defensive player in college football on Saturday per PFF at 96.2.
If our offense can continue to get a little better each week, I feel like this defensive will keep us in every game.

I don’t know if there is a better poster on this entire site than you CC.
I think I speak for the entire TD community when I say this, thank you for everything you do brother and keep rocking.
Speaking of the game, as frustrating as the game was for casual fans especially those who watched It from their television, I heard Tiger Stadium was absolutely electric and rocking from start to finish.
I truly believe it will be a nice flipmas season for our Tigers!

Seems to be lacking the speed of DW, though. Still, a quality backup.
While I agree he doesn’t have the speed of DW, not many in our history have, he makes up for it in IQ and knowing where to be.
I don’t know if the average Tiger fan just knows how lucky we are to have a coach that get can the absolute best out of his entire unit in Baker, especially the linebackers.
I refuse to believe our offense is this bad with the weapons we have. Good thing is, I tend to believe we will get better once we find the right combination on the o line.

Head coach in waiting?
I think we need to do whatever it takes to keep Baker. Whether that means add assistant HC to his title and let him know that he’s the HC in waiting.
This is exactly the type of young firey guy I’d love running our program.
You also know he wouldn’t medal in the offense and go out and get the best damn OC possible.

FL DL is legit
As much shite as people are giving Sunbelt Billy shite and rightfully so, Florida has only given up 2 offensive TDs in the season, as many offensive TDs they have themselves.
Truth is LSU hasn’t looked good on offense that’s for damn sure but we have played 2 really good defenses in Clemson and Florida.

Davhon Keys stepped up...
Posted by TexasTiger88 on 9/14/25 at 6:52 am
It’s baffling to me how truly deep our LB room is. Some stats from last night after Keys took over.
Davhon Keys, in replacement for a disqualified Whit Weeks:
78 snaps
14 tackles
2 stops
1 pressure
1 hurry
1 tackle for loss
0.5 sacks
117.7 NFL Grade (highest on the team)
Next man up.

But in no way shape or form ready for the rigors of the SEC.

What do you mean all of a sudden? From my knowledge, Kw=eys wasn't getting snaps over West when he was 100% healthy.
I guess I missed the part where Keys was starting regularly down the stretch next to Whit and balling out while West was sitting on the sidelines because he was redshirted.
All I’m saying is I think Keys earned a starting spot but I guess the coaches think otherwise.
Only time will tell. Hopefully for our sake both of them are ballers and we have a good problem on our hands.
