SEC with potentially 3 teams in CFP?

If tOSU is "disqualified" either by shutting down their season or not getting enough games in, AND Notre Dame beats Clemson again (which I don't think is a stretch), what SECCG scenario would make the case for 3 SEC teams in the CFP?
Yeah, I know they would never actually do it, but it's not at all unrealistic to see a situation where 2 of the non-SEC teams in the top 6 are moved down.
Not sure what SECCG outcome precipitates this, but it would have to be competitive late in the game and it be less than a 1 score difference.
Just say the right circumstances happen to make this a reality. What is the committee's solution at that point?
Do they elevate Cincy just because of the conference thing, even if they don't believe they are actually one of the top 4 teams?

I agree it would be nuclear. I'm just trying to see how it would be avoided without a major shuffling that could be questioned as "artificial", i.e., would the same thing happen if the 3 teams were in different conferences?

The only scenario would be A&M winning out then Fla beating Bama in the sec title game. Then you’d have three one loss teams.

They won’t do it. But if they did, we’d have an 8-team playoff within four years.

Well, they should drop the Aggie fraud, and save all the bullshite.

The trophy will have an asterisk hood ornament on it if that happens.

1. Notre Dame - wins ACC championship
2. Florida- wins sec championship
3. Bama
4. Aggie
Clemson out with two losses
OSU out for not playing games

Not happening.
Again, I don’t disagree.
Wondering how they avoid it if both tOSU and Clemson are out of the mix.
What do they do?

Bama Florida game gets COVID19 cancelled.
Would leave 10-0 Bama, 9-1 Florida and A&M.
In 2020, why not?

If Florida wins the SECCG, Bama should be out and A&M should be in.
#1 Notre Dame
#2 Florida
#3 Cincinnati
#4 Texas A&M

An argument could certainly be made if ND beats Clemson again and Ohio State gets cancelled. I realistically see two getting in - Bama & Florida or Bama and A&M. A&M can’t get in with a Bama loss in the SECCG.

A&M deserves in if Bama loses the SECCG. They would have equal losses, a better win, and would have not lost a "play-in" game.
All Bama would have is H2H from the beginning of the season and H2H is not end-all, be-all.

If Florida beats Bama in the SECCG, then Bama should still go over Florida. All Florida would have is a H2H against Alabama H2H is not end-all, be-all. Alabama would be favored in a rematch on a neutral field.

There’s no scenario where Cincinnati gets in.
