Not saying they are not but why is LSU trending upwards?

They seem to have less talent at RB and WR than usual.
What is the LSU hype about?

They bring back all WRs, 4 O-linemen who started in the bowl game, and their starting QB.

They are bringing in 5* and 4* RBs. Will finish Top-5 (possible Top-3) in recruiting.

Only major losses on D are Greedy, Ed Alexander and likely Devin White (hasn't declared yet )

For the first time in a while, there's not a mass exodus of fringe JRs on LSU's team going to the NFL. The early draft entrants, aside from maybe Alexander, should be drafted in the 1st round.

There won't be many excuses for LSU next year. But finishing 10-2 is the floor for expectations.

Mullen was a great coach and is gone. I think miss state trends down then will stabilize at 6-7 wins per year.

Thanks for the LSU responses.
Sounds good for you all going forward.
I thought Burrows was done.

As much as I would like to see Auburn trend up not sure how it will happen when we play 6 of the top 12 teams in the nation. We could be a great team and go 7-5

Then sign me up for trending down.

Bama & Georgia are the only two teams I'd swap rosters with.

I’ll turn it around on you. Why is Florida trending up? You lose Polite, Joseph and Chauncey-Gardner on defense and two or three o-linemen plus Scarlett.

Seriously, LSU should be poised for a fine year in 2019. Florida as well.
I don’t undestvand the hype about A&M.

LSU was trending downwards entering 2018 no doubt. Off field issues, recruiting class less heralded than usual, coaching questions... pre season #25 ranking was lowest in seversl years, 7-5 was most common prediction amongst neutral experts.

From #25 to #6...from 7 to 10 wins... beast recruiting class (19 and 20) ...base of a solid team returning.... Who knows how it will play out but LSU is the poster of trending upwards right now.

Bama being preseason number 1 next year, seems they are staying the same.

Over achieved year 1 under Jimbo and his first full recruiting class is strong.

2019 won't move the dial, but '20 & especially '21 could. The only question is will aggy do something typical of aggy & derail before things gel.

Hard for Alabama to go up anymore. If they don’t win the CFP, the season is a failure to them.

Also, the Rebels will be worse in 2019, even though that’s hard to believe. Accurate prediction there.

It’s not that SC is trending down, it’s an absolutely horrible schedule next year for us. Clemson, Alabama, and Georgia. Along with Florida and tamu. Talent wise we will be better than 2018, have some key players returning, key injuries have time to heal, new RB coach, and the second year in BMacs system, along with a 5* on the DL and a fringe 5* QB enrolling as well. 2019 could be tough due to schedule but 2020 may be the year to watch out for Carolina

John L is not coming back to Fayetteville

2019
vs Portland State
vs Colorado State (was away last year and winnable}
vs San Jose State
vs Western Kentucky

I can see 3 of those 4 as wins and last year was close against the Rebs
