When a DE from Auburn chases down a RB from Bama on a 40 yard run, that's SEC speed. When Lamichael James is bottled up by freshman and Nick Fairleys fat arse, that's SEC speed. When you see LSU's defense murder you, that's SEC speed. Bama's defense isn't particularly fast but they hit a way only a few teams can match and they are strong as hell.

Oregon fans thought they had speed all over the place too.

This from Chip Kelly after the LSU-Oregon game:

"They've got a different athlete running around there right now...looking at their d-line, standing next to them walking off the field, they don't look like a lot of the guys we see."

The DL separates the SEC from everyone else. Mizzou is going 2-6 in the SEC this year IMO. 4-4 at best and I could see 3-5.

2-6?

Seriously, get off the pipe, check into rehab. MIZ won't go 2-6.

I am lead to believe that the SEC SPEED argument is most relevant on the lines.

Contrare my friend. Speed is a contest everywhere on the field. It is the contest to get through the hole before the hole closes. It is the rush to get the corner before the curtain drops on the ends. It is QB's peeing in their pants holding the ball waiting on receivers to clear while expecting to be tomahwked from behind.

Mostly it is just the matchup of who can react faster to his opponents moves. The SEC upper half is usually eat up with speed. This combined with huge arse-whipping power in conjunction with speed yields championships.

OMG. a fricking coherent response. Thank you. It is all over the field, and MIZ has lots of it, aTm, not so sure. Speak up anytime Aggies.

Dline. Every BCS school has fast skill players. Come on, this is common knowledge.

Bro I've seen some of your "hype videos" on YouTube. Not trying to be a dick, but it looks like a West Monroe high school football practice.

Yeah, well unlike you I don't base my knowledge of a football program on some YouTube videos that Johnny Reacharound posts so he can show off his A/V skills. Obviously, you are not worth my time until 2013 when you have actually seen MIZ and aTm play. Carry on. Glad you got high speed Internet though. Good job.

SEC DTs move like other teams DEs.
SEC DEs move like other teams LBs.

Best way for me to describe it.

Skill position players are pretty much the same.

Mizzous Schedule

SE Louisiana
UGA
ASU
USCe
UCF
Vandy
Alabama
Kentucky
Florida
Tennessee
Syracuse
Texas A&M

Bold games are the ones Mizzou will lose. The italicized games are the ones that I see as toss ups. Tennessee I also feel could be a toss up but I think UT's offense will get the job done against Mizzou.

ASU = win. WE had that game last year, but their QB was 6'8! Seriously though, it's at home, new coach. W.

Syracuse = c'mon man. W.

aTm = tough game. A whole season with Sumlin, at College station for the 3rd year in a row. Hard to win 3 times against a team away from home. Draw.

Tennessee = W. might be tough, might not be. We'll see. You should italicize.

Florida = see Tennessee.

MIZ = 8-4
