You have 5 defensive guys in the league right now. For the sake of comparison we have almost twice that at 9.

We'll see if Mizzou is ready for a night at the swamp even with a rebuilding offense. This Gator defense would be tops in the SEC this year if not for the absolute studly defenses fielded by Bama and LSU.

CANNOT WAIT. The Swamp. Dream come true. Seriously, just on TV coverage alone the SEC is everything the Big 12 could dream while trying to puke out their dick.
I used to search the DirecTv guide in the Big12 days looking for MIZ, and would get pissed at the sheer volume of SEC games on a Saturday. It rivals the PISS12, and by that I mean here in SOCAL.
We will hang, win some lose some, but count this guy psyched as frick about SEC.

Yeah, playing in the swamp, night games at Baton Rouge, between the hedges, Neyland stadium, Fayetville, you guys are gonna have fun for a few years. The atmosphere is unlike any in the country imo. I hope to find a way to your place for the Bama game this year as well.

I think the single biggest factor will NOT be speed/size oriented, I think it will be attrition/depth over the MEATGRINDER SEC schedule.
Your # 3 DT might look pretty damn slow in the 4th quarter against Arkansas-style speed for instance. Bama's # 3 DT can ball, and is probably destined for an NFL career. There has not been much difference between Georgia and LSU's starting 22 in the last decade. It's the second 22 that makes LSU who they are. In any given year, the top 3/4 SEC teams will have SICK depth.
So, you guys will think you are the shite when you thump Georgia early on. But by week 8, you'll be looking around, saying wtf?
Glad to have Mizzou in the best league in college football and good luck.
