This is why you are Arky.

YOU PLAY TO WIN!!!!

Winning = more donations to your school. Maybe that is why Arky is not in those top 10 profit from sport universities and UF makes the list every year.

If Florida's football program was more valuable than Arkansas' right now I'd give a frick about what you just said.

But it's not.

No way. You'll lose to UGA. Who will probably be in the SEC title game for East. Also I see a lose to Tenn as well. At Tenn and coming off a physical road game at Florida the week before. It's a fricking grind week in and out.

I'll give you 3-5. But like u said it will be hard to beat aTm 3 in a row so 2-6 s not out of the question. IMO.

8-1 vs Arky all time 3 NCs 8 SEC championships

UF has a great recruiting base and alumni base that don't except BCS losses as the best season since Nixon.

No, no, no. You're wrong dude. We'll beat UGA. Crazy, yes, but it will happen. Tenn, tough, but we'll get through. You are 100% right about the grind. While you question our heart, I am totally sold on it. I know this team has heart and talent, and a lot to prove. In my mind that equals 5-3.

If I'm wrong so be it, but I've lived through some of the worst football you can possibly imagine. To see my team, in the midst of the best in the country puts a lump in my heart. I have friends from a team that we all thought changed the program in '98, and soon after it seemed like the same 'ol Mizzou. I am not only excited but ready for the SEC, and I know the rest of us are ready to give you more than you ever thought was coming.

Wtf does that have to do with my reply?

You made some dumbass Florida program money comment, and I told you Arkansas' football program is worth more. Do I even need to mention the even larger gap in basketball profit/revnue/value over Florida also?

But congrats on your claim that Florida's athletics are more profitable than Arkansas', I guess track or swimming makes a lot for you guys, sure as frick don't make more from Football, Basketball, or Baseball than Arkansas.

You get mad and have to change the subject?

Don't blame you.

He started it, claiming Florida makes more money than Arkansas.

I was simply informing him they don't in any of the 3 major sports.

Gawd.

GD it I really don't wanna go look it all back up.

I clicked on the Forbes link from this board not long ago, Ark was #8 and Florida was #11 for football program value.

And in basketball, it's not even close, Florida wasn't even in the Top 50 for hoops I don't think, 17% profit to Arkansas' 53% profit.

And I know UF doesn't profit from baseball because I believe only LSU and Arkansas do in the SEC, maybe SC now.

Who's #8
Who's #11

Btw, your link to some shitty website is from June of 2011, over a year ago.

Might wanna check with Forbes above, from this year.

Yeah. I'm looking forward to watching mizzou and aTm this year. Can't wait to get some feedback from the new comers on playing sec weekly. The trenches dominate in this conference. I want to see how much recruiting work/change in philosophy mizzou must endure.

Which is more important? A company's profit or a magazine's estimation of that same company's worth.

Night all, I'm off to listen to the wife sleep.

Rank School Revenue Expenses Profit

5 Univ. of Florida (Football) $68,715,750 $24,457,557 $44,258,193

17 Univ. of Arkansas (Football) $48,524,244 $22,005,104 $26,519,140

By the numbers, how is Arky football worth more. UF has money and success in the SEC on its side. Not mad at all. Big 6 don't get mad at little 6. Pity is the word you are looking for. Pity.

Oh, I forgot we were talking about whatever it was we were talking about. fricking Arky....

I think we are along the same lines here. Will be interesting to see how it changes the overall scheme of things. Personally, the spread we run will slowly get phased out. Pinkel is good at adjusting as he sees fit. That being said he seems to be terrible at halftime adjustments, but thats for another time.

Value, obviously.

You seriously can't be that dumb roadGator, I know you can't.

"Hey guys my company is worth 100 million, should I sell it and buy this company that's worth 80 million?"

Oh and as for basketball:

University of Arkansas Main Campus Revenue: 14,391,769 Profit: 7,755,353 Margin: 53.9%

University of Florida Revenue: 10,016,431 Profit 1,909,310 Margin 19.1%

For all the success Florida has had lately in hoops, they aren't even in the Top 20 for profit or Top 40 for revenue. Football or die.

Value as determined by some magazine is all yours.

I'll stick with profit. After all, that how Foley builds brand new women's lacrosse stadiums instead of other shite we need.

You should not be surprised by the basketball numbers. there are no sky boxes in the O'Dome and it really needs some updating. It only holds about 10k for basketball as it is.

No boxes for baseball either.

We have no room for new shite without tearing down the old shite. That's hard to do. I can't wait for them to replace the O'dome. I'll be looking down with pride from Heaven though.

Well, isn't that how companies work? An outside firm comes in and determines the company value?

Forbes is pretty well respected if I'm not mistaken.

Tell me about it, Barnhill won't be up for too much longer, out of room for the most part as well.

Value only really matters when you sell though. I'm fairly certain we aren't selling just yet.

Profit matters every minute of every day.

Anyway, I'm out of this thread before SunFrog's dance partners wake him up from his drunken stupor because he missed his last appointment with his next 8 ball and he decides to posts lists and articles and shite. Oh, and picture album after picture album.
