Can attest to this personally. My 19 year old is currently matriculating at Bama.

4.3 GPA, 35 ACT super score.

Auburn accepted her but didn’t exactly aggressively pursue her. Bama and Mississippi state flung financial aid at her like mad to try and get her on campus.

with these numbers; I'd place Auburn higher; I guess Bama got the nod with the high point being 1400 vs 1390; but I'd rank on where the low point starts; especially with AU being 90 points higher...

Alabama also has a significantly larger enrollment than Auburn; 41,000 vs. 34,000. The larger the desired enrollment gets the less selective a school can be. An average test score for incoming freshmen is far from a comprehensive indicator of how good a school is. If Auburn were to suddenly limit incoming enrollment to only 100 people and took only those with the highest standardized test scores; they would almost certainly have the highest in the SEC. But that wouldn’t mean they are the best university.

Sure, it's a hick-town paradise with almost no black people allowed in the city except those on athletic scholarships at the school, and even those have to be back on campus by nightfall.

Of course, the age-old affliction that has always ailed Wire Road denizens and those in close vicinity to them, Mr. Ringworm, is sure to make many, many appearances in your time at auburn.

If the above doesn't keep you busy, when the retards start burning the cow shite to jazz up the fertilizer, here comes the Mucormycosis (black fungus) to soothe the lungs and make you flop around as you die in the middle of Nowhere frickingVille, Alabama.
