The difference is people in Louisiana will go down swinging for LSU football while Mizzou let a bunch of unhinged political lunatics derail their football program and send their winningest coach to an early retirement. It's not "that one year". LSU is a school that ran off a flag burner with chants of "Go to hell, hippie, go to hell!" Matter of time before Mizzou has another hunger strike. Yeah I know Pinkel had/has health issues but you know damn well he wanted no more of that shitshow.

LSU fans have a bad reputation for some things that happened a long time ago.
I fear that reputation is going to be earned in two weeks. LSU fans are more furious than I have ever seen. Unfortunately, we may hear some port-o-potty dumping stories, stuff may be thrown from upper levels down on the Bama fans, or worse.
It’s a toxic atmosphere and I’m not sure College Gameday is going to like our students new found love of being as vulgar as possible. They are going to screw up College Gameday. It’s going to be a mess.

LSU is the reason GameDay has a screen around the set after somebody threw a golf ball in Corso's direction. I think Herbie caught the golf ball.

What will happen is a lot of big talk and some juvenile posturing. A few of the trashiest drunks start some fights, and a lot of them will realize they're not as tough as they thought and have to tote an actual arse whipping in addition to the one LSU gets on the field.
