He did not go pro, but the players that did were not given a choice before the rule that directly effects them. The Trinidad situation breaks the new 5 for 5 rule. The medical waiver was certainly not intended for a common mild illness that lasts a few days. Even if his claim was valid, there are no more redshirts under the new rule. You will lose this argument every time, alter.

People freaking out on this need to take a step back for a second. This is a one time anomoly in which these kids were not grandfathered in (the 5 in 5 thing). So literally next year this is not even a thing.
