To win the SEC east.
Let's be real though, for anyone who actually follows these teams closely it's not even close who has better talent.
Georgia, with a half functional offense last year won easily and shut Kyle Trask down for nearly the whole game.
This year our defense will still be lights out and our offense will be improved.
Our recruiting classes are #1 overall. Florida's are barely top 10.
Gators please don't get too excited this season, we both know what's going to happen in Jacksonville. We're going to shut your arse down again and Dan Mullen will make excuses. Just like the last three times Kirby beat him.

You talking about Trask who was in his first year starting? If Kirby actually had talent, he would have won a championship by now.

I heard that the SEC media has only picked the conference winner correctly seven times since 1992. Idk about divisions though

Why does it matter if you're just gonna lose to whoever wins the west

It’s 2020. Anything is possible. I am not picking against UGA in the SECCG.

Don’t kid yourself, UGA has a ton of talent, but so does Florida and a lot of other schools. Recruiting classes Inside the 10/15 mean nothing if the players don’t develop. Georgia does a good job developing some of those players, but not like other powerhouses.

Why will your offense be improved?

I'll take Mullen with a top 10 recruiting class over Kirby with a #1 rated class 6 days a week and twice on Sunday.
It's happening. Deal with it.

Trask was the third best Quarterback in the SEC last year in spite of starting 10 games and sharing snaps with Emory. He was a lifelong backup.
This is the first year where he is the starter, and he graduated last year so he is completely focused on Quarterbacking.
We have four Redshirt Senior offensive linemen.
Pierce had the highest average running the ball last year (when our line was struggling, mind you). *Of Running backs. Emory Jones was our best rusher last year regarding average when touching the ball over 40 times.
Pitts and Grimes are both veterans, Toney in slot is a senior.
Offensively we're probably going to be good, if we can run? We'll be elite.
On the other side of the ball our defense has been pretty stout, but I think they will be well-rested and our offense will prevent them from getting gassed. I fully expect Trask to get to the next level.
Meanwhile, Georgia is replacing 4/5 on offensive line, their "starting" QB quit three weeks ago, they have a new system that isn't particularly built around their QB, lost both starting RBs, both starting TEs -- let me just be blunt:
They are completely overhauling their offense with new pieces and limited practices. You guys are going to need luck to beat Auburn, Georgia and yes, even Florida. That offense is probably going to stall a lot as you guys iron it out.
Even Mullen struggled his first year on offense, even Joe Burrow struggled at LSU the first year. It is very hard to bring in a Quarterback to a new system surrounded by new players with limited practices.

Too bad you can't win big games just by being good at recruiting.

Oh shucks you’re right.
Sorry fellow Gator fans, we’re just not good enough because jodeaux has spoken his wisdom to the Rant

You are right. I can't knock the kids for Kirbys lack of development. Mullen can develop players. That's why he will win the east.

Imagine the melt on this board when Ole Miss takes the Gators to the woodshed in 3 days

I think Florida will beat Georgia by two touchdowns this year. Georgia fans are always so ignorant to their current situation. You don't have the best team this year and I can't wait to hear all of the fans complaining at about week 4 why everything has to due with covid

How long until Georgia fans realize they have Richt 2.0?
Posted on 9/23/20 at 8:44 pm to jodeaux
You’re going to lose to Arkansas. Let that sink in.

God damn. Georgia posters otb are fricking awful
Posted on 9/23/20 at 8:52 pm to jodeaux
You may as well give someone else a chance. UGA can't seem to get over the hump.

Interesting because he had a top 10 roster last year and he lost.
So you already lost one of your days.
Do you really wanna double down?
