A&M and Mizzou need to step up the game. Also, I was surpised that Tennessee has had so many POYs.

It's a little deceptive. Bernard King won it 3 times and Dale Ellis won it twice. So that is 5 of the 11 with just two players. Also, one year that Bernard King won it, he actually tied with Ernie Grunfield...so that was 2 in one year.

Surprised BJ McKie didn't win it for South Carolina in the late 1990's.

Big 3 UK, LSU, Tenn. UF had a couple flash in the pan years but everyone knows these 3 are the long term foundation of SEC basketball

Video just popped of Thornwell and the team getting the news. They were pretty pumped.
Hopefully this lights a fire under their arse for the two tourneys.

I'm not surprised. Even when LSU is bad they seem to have an NBA guy or two

A&M and Mizzou need to step up the game.
This is shocking news.

We never had one until Chandler Parsons won it in 2011.

Pathetic, they also have the least SEC wins since '92.

Yes I mean this. Corliss Williamson won it for Arky and they had only been in the league for two years. Don't be butthurt, be productive.

Used to love those games between Foster and Lofton

Postseason basketball awards haven't exactly favored Gators. The fact that it took 15 years for Donovan to win SEC COY is almost unbelievable.

Especially given the success y'all have had recently, I would have thought that you would have more postseason awards. Very surpristieric to me.
