I feel like it was a career award for him, but I'm good with that in his case.

eh, even though he didn't win the NCAA individual title (though Auburn won the team title), he still won 5 tournaments this year, his 3rd straight SEC individual title, and basically every single national award. then you add in he had a T11, T6, T5, T4 in PGA Tour events (also finished in the top 25 at the US open) from the end of his Junior season until he turned pro, his resume this year was/is pretty damn absurd

I am not sure I consider golfers athletes. I mean Arnold Palmer(when he older and playing he was very fat), John Daly, Craig Stadler, etc.

Def takes skill no doubt..but they are not athletes.
