Ok. Well it sounds more like Kiffin and LSU are just going to have to decide on whether to use Louisiana judge rules to play them, and SEC rules be damned, and take their chances with the SEC.
To clarify, these kids can play in a league that doesn’t have a rule against it.

quote:I don't think LSU will play them if they will get in trouble. Kiffin already said that. It's funny how this evolved into an SEC vs LSU conflict when other teams are doing the same exact thing.
Sounds like violating SEC rules by playing them could result in league consequences for LSU.
To be honest, my beef is with the commissioner being hypocritical by saying the "lines are blurred" between college and the NFL for this matter compared to what's been going on in the past 3 or 4 years. I think the lines have too longed been blurred.

LSU is not getting expelled from the SEC.
They may get jobbed by some horrible calls this season. But expelled over this…… give me a damn break.

If it does happen, it won’t be over a player. It will be because LSU openly and brazenly defied the wishes of every single other school in the conference. If they are kicked out it will be because they said we don’t care what the rules of the SEC are, we are going to do what we want.
If the official roster Kiffin turns in on Friday includes Wright and/or Harris, there are going to be some interesting closed door conversations held over the weekend.

I don't think LSU takes that risk if they aren't extremely comfortable in knowing what the outcome will be.

If the TRO comes out against the SEC and Sankey they will remain powerless until they appeal. The appeal will go through a....... Louisiana court just like Chambliss' went through Mississippi.
Good luck, losers.

Sounds like they are all afraid of the Kiffin era..Very afraid. It's beautiful.

I hear what you’re saying. But the league, along with the other leagues, have declared that it’s gone past a point now.
