I was arguing that Auburn was borderline host and thought they might not get it with the 1-2 show in the sect.

But muh rpi, rpi is overrated trash.

8 SEC teams hosting is too much.

Auburn was never good, LSU gifted a series win and then they swept 2 teams that didn’t even make the tournament. Oh yea so hot for 2 weeks.

LSU got run-ruled. Not really a gifted win when they beat a team so bad that they have to stop it. That was earned.

They were the hottest team in the SEC for about a month. Baseball kinda plays out like this plenty

The sec is undoubtedly the best baseball league. But every conference outside of it isn’t division 2 in comparison like some on this site believe

9-1 first round w/ 8 home games. Won 8 home games and 1-1 on the road?

I saw something that prior to SEC Tournament, only 2 SEC teams had winning road records.

Last at bat is much bigger in college than MLB. Not that many lock down closers in college.

SEC is best conference, no doubt about it. And deep. But also suspect in some ways.

LSU pitching other than Skenes is about the worst for a #1 team I’ve seen in a really long team. Most #1 dominant teams have 2 good starters, if not 3.

Lot of parity in NCAA this year.

True. Plus, I mean, it’s baseball.

Huh? Auburn was the exception to the committee sticking with the RPI. They were the only host that weren't in the top 16 and their AD was the chairman of the committee this year. It's really not hard to figure this one out.

If anything this just says they should have stuck closer to what the RPI actually said instead of giving a host to #19.

I’d say Tennessee was a little underrated in terms of seeding

The SEC team was favored in all 10 yesterday.

As we are seeing today, there are some good teams outside the SEC.

Injuries happen. We went from having the best bull pen in the nation to really only 2 decent arms to start other than Skenes. If we had Taylor, Shores and Edwards back this would be an entirely different looking team
