Stupid thread - in conference play is done now and it's us against the world - roll tide and go dawgs (ok I just threw up in my mouths a little) but yes I want all sec teams to win especially sec west teams - as sec west we are undefeated ooc this year and only lost 4 to the east - I want all sec west to dominate - arky over Tejas, Lsu over notre dame, us over tcu, state over GT, Aubie over Wisconsin, A&M over West Virginia (should be the coward horns) and Bama über alles - if we do this in all games we prove we could and in mynopinion be the top 7-10 teams in the country in one side of one conference!

I root for teams that I respect. When Jim Tressel was at Ohio State, I really didn't hate them, and pulled for them every year against Michigan. If any SEC team, barner college included, played Notre Dame, I'd root for auburn. I hate rooting for conference and I really hate conference pride because I'm not going to root for our rivals just because I can brag about a superior conference. I hope auburn and tennessee both get blown out in their bowl games.

I always pull for the SEC out of conference. Except for Auburn...because frick them.
It's good for Bama and every other team in conference to have the SEC recognized as the best conference each year. Also, I have a lot of out of conference friends, in particular the big 10 and pac whatever, and their jealousy and hatred of the SEC is intense. They always think the SEC is overrated.

To the OP... I have Bama fatigue like everyone else, but the SEC winning OOC and Bowl games earns the conference the benefit of the doubt in tie-breaker situations that are going to come up in the new Playoff format and lifts the profile of everyone. So the SEC winning is good for all schools.
You need to find a way to reconcile your jealousies.

I'm a Ole Miss fan first and SEC second. To me that means pulling for 13 SEC teams total. The one I'm pulling against happens to be in the Orange Bowl this year.

I always root for the SEC teams except for Bama...
Recently I decided their massive success hurts LSU more than it helps strengthen the conference and so I never root for them. They recruit in La and it's not worth it to me for them to continue to dominate just for the good of the conference.
Otherwise, I hope the SEC wins every other bowl game.
