That’s not true. While it is true that he said he would wait for guidance. He also said he with comply with rules. What are the rules? Are the rules no NFL Players? Does complying with said rule mean he’ll not put NFL players? Connect the dots. The whole thing was dumb and I’m glad at least some are coming to that realization. This was said well before the initial hearing btw. What feels like a lifetime ago.

while most of what you said is true, this one here is the only on that matters, and is FALSE.
lane said on McAffee's show that they are pursuing getting them eligible, but that they would not roster them or play them if it went against the rules. stop cherry picking to be dead wrong.

Reading this board is a complete waste of time. It makes everyone dumber.

This is probably also about Wade and Luis.
The question is, why is LSU singled out on this?

LSU never said they wouldn't put NFL players on the roster.
LSU's coach instead of saying we're not gonna put NFL players on the roster said "we're waiting for guidance"
LSU in week 1 sent in a roster with 103 players, two short of the 105 limit.
LSU had two players who signed NFL team contracts that were enrolled at LSU and brought in to play football at LSU.
It would make perfect sense to think the two roster spots open are for those two guys, otherwise why are they at LSU?
LSU's coach had already said he was going to pursue those players and had the intention of signing those players.
LSU's head coach even made a sarcastic comment about those NFL players in his halftime interview in his first game, obviously pissed that he hadn't been able to roster them.
LSU never at any time, while giving lip service saying "we're not breaking the rules", said they were divorcing themselves from those players until the SEC threatened to vote LSU out of the conference.
Finally, LSU handed in a full roster without the NFL players which means there would be no possibility of LSU putting those players on the roster this season.
These are facts.
Which one of these facts violated SEC bylaws?

Keeping the roster spots open was the declaration that even the legal ambiguity coverage arrived to do so, they'd add the players.
The conference and its members didn't like them playing with fire, so they told LSU to put it out.
Then LSU put the fire out a couple of days ago.
Not that complicated.

The lawsuit had to stop because it was a TRO (used only in extreme and time sensitive cases) and claiming irreparable damages. Those “damages” disappeared the minute LSU filled up its roster with eligible players.
The issue is now moot.
^this
Now can we all stop this pointless bickering about who “won” between LSU and the SEC in the courtroom and get back to the very relevant bickering about who will win on the football field this Saturday?

No, not this. The SEC wasn’t just asking for a TRO. It was also asking for a permanent injunction, which is idiotic.

Again, which one of the facts violated SEC bylaws? You know several schools did not roster a full 105 players.
LSU complied with the rules of the SEC. You might not like how they did it, but that is not a violation, just hurt feelings.

What specifically did Kiffin do?
That out of control bastard waited for guidance from the courts and then from the SEC and opted not to roster 2 players.
I don't nust want him suspended, anything less than jail time and he'll think it's ok to go around seeking guidance any time he pleases.
