LSU sent a letter confirming the LSU will not do what LSU didn't do.

Right?

It was delayed because parts of it were no longer relevant after LSU filled in the last 2 roster spots, which means they will not be adding pro players.

They were specifically asking to prevent that, and it was the reason for a rush hearing. They'll amend it again without that and with more focus on the LOIC.

From what I've been reading, this is about more than Kiffin.

The lawsuit had to stop because it was a TRO (used only in extreme and time sensitive cases) and claiming irreparable damages. Those “damages” disappeared the minute LSU filled up its roster with eligible players.

The issue is now moot.

This only works as more evidence as to the continuation of the SeC to refuse eligible players from being rostered .

I’m waiting for the Lane suspension and postseason band. Supposedly, that was needed.

It’s not moot until the SEC says it is. There was still LOIC. They should have never had to be here in the first place. So yes. There will be consequences.

Awwwww, and another

President of LSU confirming, prior to the amended SEC filing, that it will not roster pro players sounds like full institutional control.

That's not the type of institutional control they are talking about.

What has them upset is that apparently the governor's office of LSU is running things and coordinating these things behind the scenes.

They don't think LSU is running things at all.

The governor has appointments on the Board of Directors. Of course he’s involved.

They are upset that the governor of the state is involved in a state institution located in the state capitol.

LSU never said they wouldn't put NFL players on the roster.

LSU's coach instead of saying we're not gonna put NFL players on the roster said "we're waiting for guidance"

LSU in week 1 sent in a roster with 103 players, two short of the 105 limit.

LSU had two players who signed NFL team contracts that were enrolled at LSU and brought in to play football at LSU.

It would make perfect sense to think the two roster spots open are for those two guys, otherwise why are they at LSU?

LSU's coach had already said he was going to pursue those players and had the intention of signing those players.

LSU's head coach even made a sarcastic comment about those NFL players in his halftime interview in his first game, obviously pissed that he hadn't been able to roster them.

LSU never at any time, while giving lip service saying "we're not breaking the rules", said they were divorcing themselves from those players until the SEC threatened to vote LSU out of the conference.

Finally, LSU handed in a full roster without the NFL players which means there would be no possibility of LSU putting those players on the roster this season.

These are facts.

Their lawyers probably tried to trial prep Sankey and realized he’s actually retarded and they couldn’t risk another in trial embarrassment.
