If given the option, you're seriously saying you would take O over Kiffin?

Easy. What the hell has Kiffin ever won as a head coach?

Kiffin, Mullen & Smart all have NC's as top coordinators. Mullen took his team to a conf championship as HC so I'd say Mullen is 5th.

Kiffin
Fisher
Mullen (Mullen would be higher, but he's made some seriously boneheaded moves)

The problem with coaching rankings is no one ever defines the parameters.

Is this based on percieved coaching ability or achievements?

Kiffin, Mullen & Smart all have NC's as top coordinators. Mullen took his team to a conf championship as HC so I'd say Mullen is 5th.

Fisher won a Natty as a Coordinator as well as HC. Resume wise he is pretty solidly above the rest of the guys not named Saban (and he is a Saban guy). He clearly has A&M on the right track as well.

You can rate someone above him I suppose but Fisher has a strong objective argument for #2. Certainly no lower than 4.

Mullen is a very good coach but in the end he has yet to win a Conference Title of any kind much less a Natty or get in the Playoff. He also completely blew off a NY6 game this year and let OU run a train on his team.

Kirby has done more overall but in the end he was Saban's Assistant and there is a long list of successes there and he inherited a great situation at UGA and has not really done much more than his predecessor.

Ed O had the magical season but otherwise hasn't been very impressive.

Kiffin and Leach are both really good coaches but not on the same level as the others.

O's SEC record: 28-12 and 3-21, for 31-33

Jimbo's SEC record: 17-8

Mullen's SEC record: 33-39 and 19-7, for 52-46

Agree IMO the most important coaching attributes

Winning consistency
Lack of program turmoil
Recruiting
Knowledge X and O
