SEC office sent an email regarding game.
They are “evaluating” options.
When did this happen?
Never heard this at all.

Play it in Mississippi. They will have a nice shiny new flag by then and can play the black national anthem to boot.

I would have agreed with about a month ago
but the riots and the shite that went on down on University is going to bring some businesses and residents 2nd thoughts about staying in city.
Buddy of mine is moving his business from Buckhead to Roswell and 2 other friends have put their homes on the market and moving out.
Pretty sad because city has been
booming the last 15 years with home values
through the roof along with a drop in violent crime numbers I hope it doesn't go back to days of 80's and 90'.
BTW I was downtown today and everything seemed fine.No idea what the OP is talking about.

Its trending in that direction.
city was 61% black in 2000 and the percentage has gone down to 46% with whites at 41%
Bottoms only won her office by 700 votes vs her white opponent.

I received the email from the SEC about the SECCG. (I am an SECCG season ticket holder since 1994.) They are keeping their options open about when to issue tickets, how many tickets to issue, and what date the game might be played. If it's played, it will be in ATL.

Don't mind him, he probably hasn't been to Atlanta in decades. Either that or the only parts he goes to are southwest Atlanta or the area around Georgia Tech

I’ll deal with shitty Atlanta for how great MBS is.

The Area around Tech is a lot nicer than when I was in school there, Techwood Homes was reputed to be the largest Public Housing Project in the US at that time, and my Dorm was on the "other side of N Ave. right next to the Projects
Good times, The folks that lived in Techwood Dorm had an edge about them, no wussified Mama's boys that complained to the school to swap their dorm assignment cause they ended up next to the Projects

When Techwood first opened in the 30's it was all white and was considered state of the art.
WPBA had a documentary about the history of public housing in Atlanta...very fascinating. They spent about a half hour on East Lake Meadows in the 70's and 80's...you really had to feel for the folks who lived there who were trying to do the right thing surrounded by all that crime.

Yea, that aint gonna happen. Not anytime soon. What few white people were going to Atlanta now have stopped and will avoid that place for a long time.
There is nothing about Atlanta that will draw white people to move there.

From SEC office:
“ We are waiting for Georgia state and local health departments to approve a plan for fans at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. We expect this decision to be made in August. We will announce the renewal ticket plan at that time. This page will be updated as soon as new information is available.
If you are unable to attend the Championship Game this year, next year you will retain your right to purchase your 2019 seats and have an option to request an upgrade.
2020 refund policy: If for any reason you are unable to attend the SEC Championship Game, an automatic full refund will be issued to the card used for payment”

We'll see what the 2020 census says. Its been trending in the direction gentrification since 2000 and the racial make up is now 46% black to 41% white and I believe it'll be close to even with census numbers.

The majority of new folks moving into
the city are white and young...we'll if the trend continues. Bottoms has been disaster when it comes to public safety...after years of violent crime trending down it's now going back up.

Traffic is a major selling point for folks
wanting to move in town along with the lifestyle. Both of those have been irrelevant since CV but we'll see if certain trends continue.

Depends on how the first game vs. UF goes. If we win big or lose I’ll feel good. A close win and I’ll be puckered for the rematch.

Since Atlanta is now democrat will Saban the democrat get a home field advantage from the democrat crowd ??
But Saban to get that home field advantage there sacrificed a big part of Alabama’s fan base when he came out to play politics
Saban came out to support the abortion democrat party by working to elect a democrat senator joe manchin
Manchin then goes out to try to do a coup on America’s voting system to try to stop the election by trying to throw trump out with impeachment
So Saban used his own popularity from his Bamas teams to try to stop the state of Alabama’s majority voters
So. Yes Alabama with Saban coaching will have a home advantage there because Atlanta votes democrats too
And to help further the advantage him and many on the team comes out pushing fur black lives matter stronger than all lives matter
So Saban has turned the whole team democrat
Will that give him an advantage on recruiting with the best players being democrats ??
But will the state of Alabama put up with Sabans greed to win at all costs ??
This will be a big moment in the history of the state of ala on what their priorities are
I’m switching to another coach and team but the coach of the team must not have come out to support the democrat party people
Which sec coach has not come out politically like Saban did ?
