SEC Championship Game, is anybody excited about going into Atlanta right now?

downtown Atlanta is a a hellhole right now
not as bad as Minneapolis, but a hellhole nonetheless
problem is, I'm not real excited about any of the replacement locations either (NOLA, Nashville, Memphis)
maybe we could build a stadium on the Gulf Coast somewhere

Atlanta is kind of run down. The downtown area is a decade plus behind Houston and Dallas

This is BS even when Downtown ATL was "rough" by Atlanta's standards, it was never a hellhole

I'm not excited about going anywhere right now because of the coronavirus, but I can't wait to get back to Atlanta once this is over.

When is Atlanta ever "exciting?" Seems like a p bland city, but it's a short drive to the north away from some spectacular scenery

Our mayor, Keisha Lance Bottoms!, is a fairly competent person. There is a lot to like, however there is one key negative that is a cancer on her tenure.
Like Stacey Abrams, she regularly invokes Black racial consciousness. Whether it was assuming that "racist" texts sent to both her and her son were sent by an evil White supremacist, rather than a hoaxer, to calling the killing of both the "Jogging" then assaulting Ahmaud Arbery and the napping then assaulting Brooks, lynchings, she is quick to play the race card. It is really unfortunate, cause that is the last thing Atlanta needs right now.
It won't be long till Atlanta is once again majority White, and she will regret trying to have street cred through easy but irresponsible statements.
