Playoff Rankings at this point without bias:

* Of course Oklahoma works their way in if they remain undefeated.

1. Georgia - undefeated and a #17 and #25 opponent.

2. Oregon - 1 loss and the only huge victory among these teams @ #4 Ohio State.

3. Michigan State - 1 loss and a much better win than Bama at this point.

4. Bama - lost to the only top 12 committee team they played.

5. Cincy - Undefeated and weak overall schedule but do have a big win @ #9 Notre Dame

Yes.... Why is Oregon ranked over Ohio State?

Why is Michigan ranked over Michigan State?

It's not SEC bias, it's recency bias.

PSU lost 3 straight going into the first CFP ranking. Meanwhile, Auburn was coming off back to back ranked wins.

It's going to take more than beating a horrible Maryland team to get PSU back in the rankings.

Don't worry little fella, if PSU beats Michigan, they'll be ranked again. If they don't, they'll be 1-4 with a win over Maryland in their last 5, so they still won't deserve to be ranked.

Lmfao at a Buckeye whining about bias. Every damn year yall bitch moan and complain your way into the playoff.. one year playing a conference title game doesn't matter. The next year it absolutely matters even if your record is shittier. Or frick it, let's just play half a season and claim we should be in anyway. GTFO with your nonsense.

The only thing more obnoxious than an Ohio State Football fan is a Kentucky Basketball fan.

Ohio State has played two SEC opponents in the playoff.

Alabama both times. Beat them once and they beat us once.

And if you are talking about Ohio State and Alabama you can make that point. But you are talking about SEC against the SEC.

In the playoffs:

SEC: 11-4
Big 10: 3-4

Still think there is a bias and the SEC benefits from a bias, or having better teams?

ETA
I'm not even going to point out that the only reason Ohio State got into the playoffs last year was because your conference changed their rules specifically to make them eligible for their conference championship game.

Bias at it's finest.

B1G bias, too many B1G teams ranked early on when most like Iowa were frauds to begin with. West is a mess and yet the media has had 6 B1G ranked for most of the season. However you mention none of this in your post

Addressing some of your post.

Penn State BEAT Auburn

Yes, but 2 items you missed

#1 Game was "white out" at Happy Valley and may be valid for 3 to 10 points in favor of Penn State. If the game was neutral or @ Auburn. This is not a win for PSU

#2 Hang around Auburn long enough and they can be a roller coaster ride even their own fans struggle with. Game was early in the season with "Bad Bo" and right now with "Good Bo" I give the Tigers a 33% chance to beat the Tide in the Iron Bowl. Penn State playing Alabama in Alabama and I give them a .001% chance of a win.

I'm just glad the B1G teams are finally going to play each other. The scheduling that allowed you to get this deep in the season with so few of your top half teams having played each other is amazing.

You guys play Purdue, Mich State, and Michigan to finish.

Mich State has OSU and Penn State.

Michigan has Penn State and Ohio State.

Then you will have a Conf Title game for someone against a Wisconsin team that is playing decent ball.

B1G needs to enjoy it right now because you could easily have a 2 or even a 3 loss Champ and there is no realistic scenario you send more than 1 team to the Playoff. There are several scenarios you send no one.

And how have Big Ten teams outside of Ohio State fared? The SEC has had two different teams win the whole thing and three different teams make the title game.

Very unlikely but a 1 loss Michigan that didn't make the Big 10 championship game has a chance at the playoff.

Georgia wins the SECCG
Oregon loses another game.
Michigan State and them both beat OSU.
They would beat Cincy out in that scenario I think (would be close).

How do you explain Purdue and Whisky being ranked so high above Arkansas?

No way those teams are 6-3 playing the Arkansas schedule.

Big 10 bias is real.

Dang son, that’s a level of butt hurt.

Here ya go, if Penn State goes undefeated next season they will get another national championship. Win it on the field.
