Everyone knows the SEC has been the best conference the past 15 years. Not hear to start that argument. But just want to give you all an example of what the rest of the country sees.
"Penn State and Auburn both have 3 losses
Penn State BEAT Auburn
Auburn has wins over #15 and #25
PSU has wins over #17 and #18
Auburn is #17
Penn Stats is unranked"
Bias at it's finest.

Penn State should not have lost to Illinois in 8 OTs.

Oregon shouldn't have lost to Stanford, but head to head matters right? That's why they are ahead of OSU

Here is the yearly Big 10 crying fest over the SEC. After the playoffs when you get bent over - again - it will be crickets until this time next year. Rinse and repeat

You keep on riding them coattails. You're biggest wins are when SEC teams beat Clemson for ya LOL

Do college football playoff rankings really mean a goddamn thing outside of the top four?

Did you watch the big ten in the Java tournament last year? Now that was biased lol

It's more of a recency bias than SEC bias. AU has looks good recently. Penn State, not so much.

This is a new and exciting topic.
Also feel free to explain how Wisconsin is ranked ahead of Arkansas based on their resumes. I'm anxiously awaiting your reply.

Ohio State has played two SEC opponents in the playoff.
Alabama both times. Beat them once and they beat us once.

You talking about the same Auburn team that managed 3 points against Texas A&M or a different one?

The same AU, yes, that hasn't lost 3 of their last 4 or so.

so it all boils down to the Penn State Auburn game

Penn state had a long settled stable coaching staff, auburn has an all new staff.
I think auburn had more room to improve.

Piss poor example, considering Mich St beat Mich 11 days ago, and Mich is now ranked ahead of them. Both with the same record now. It has nothing to do with an SEC bias. It’s just the committee being whatever the hell they are, which btw, only has one member with an SEC affiliation. If the rest of the country thinks it’s an SEC bias, then they’re just fricking stupid.

I don’t concern myself with the opinions of fans whose team hasn’t beaten South Carolina.
