Tenner and Bama are legit contenders, but that’s about it. Injuries have limited Arky’s upside. Kentucky is just not that good. A few others might sneak in the tournament but not go far. Seems like a big drop for the conference as a whole from what many expected.

SEC has 5 teams in the top 25. Tied for first with the Big 12.

Then just right outside the top 25:

26. LSU
28. State
29. Kentucky

Look at college basketball everywhere. Not many top teams. Top ranked teams are getting beat every other night. Just sit back and let the season play out. Gonna be a wild tournament

Miss State has a great coach, but Jans had leftovers in this first year and tried to make the best of what he had.

He will recruit his players now and hopefully get several big time portal players who are scoring beasts. Time will tell, but he deserves a few years, after all he has won everywhere he's been.

It’s not down, it’s just mediocre in general

There’s blue blood Kentucky, 2-3 programs delusional about being basketball schools, and everyone else is average/sucks

He didn’t make excuses for himself so you don’t either. Let him in April and he said college basketball is essentially JUCO basketball now. New team every year

But the point being while he has some talent we are lacking offensive playmakers. When we played Alabama last week, they had guys that could score in the clutch. We do not have anyone on the roster that create his own shot or jump up and hit a 25 foot contested three pointer.
Jans will recruit that piece but he is doing a tremendous job this year so far. Fans are excited about State basketball again for the first time in over ten years.

I agree MSU on the rise. Should be a fun year overall. I love watching MBB more than any and every sport when they let them play.

Losing TB sucks…Adding Pinion in the lineup will for sure help. We haven’t had a shooter all year which has been the missing piece

We will be ready for March

I swear LSU basketball is better than LSU fans think this year.

Even with injuries, this year’s Arkansas team is probably better than the last two elite 8 teams.

Muss’s Januarys are always not great.

All off-season we heard how they wouldn't even miss a step.

Not that there was much of a step to miss with that fat piece of shite anyway.

Yeah that’s not what you heard at all. We were hopeful but a lot of things had to go right. Some have some haven’t. Enjoy Oats for the rest of the year. He gone in March

Nah, he's not stupid enough to pay for players with his wife's checking account.

We are doing better offensively so far today

Better ball movement and shot selection and not missing easy layups.
