Arkansas and lsu weren’t hosts in the final regular season projections so if they lose another game and go 0-2 then I doubt they host.
Kendall Rogers is not the selection committee

Weather app has 90% chance of rain tomorrow morning from 6-10.
Looking like a lot of baseball Friday and Saturday.

Rain will not be done until ~12 or 12:30 CDT
They may be able to start playing at 1 or 1:30 depending on how long it takes to get the field ready.
Games will maybe be at ~ 1:00, 5:00, 9:00.

How about a little CCR. Who’ll stop the rain?

At this point, just make the whole thing single elimination. No need to tire out these guys headed into regionals.

Yep the damn thing should be single elimination from the get go.

The way this is going, Im starting to think I’d rather LSU just bow out and rest

You still want to play at least one. Keep everyone sharp before regionals.
The problem with single elim from the start is that it means most teams are only getting 1 game in. Switch to pool play in the future and guarantee everyone 2-3 games.

Most tourney teams are having the issue of getting the pitching staff enough reps heading into Regionals.
Single elimination hurts the teams in that regard.

As long as they can get two games in today, they should be good to go. They'll have finished 7 games. They'll need to finish 10 between Friday and Sunday. They can have four Friday, four Saturday, and two on Sunday.

I agree that one game would definitely be good to get in but at this rate we’re playing our game at 10pm tonight and then looking at, at least one double header going into the weekend.

SEC Baseball has an idea. They are not officially tied to the SEC.
