Looks good overall, but I disagree with this criteria.
Not all conference titles are created equal.
Are Texas A&M's 19 conference championships.... all from the Southwest / Big 12... equal to an SEC Title?
To me, stick to the NCAA Tournament.... that's all that matters and when you start including criteria that's not apples to apples for all programs involved, it muddies the water.

It's a safe bet. The sec west is going to be brutal, A&M, LSU, and Auburn will be better next season and UF or UGA will make a game in the sec championship. While the big 12 is projected to be down outside OU, UT, and ISU.

I’m definitely not mad. It’s just low hanging fruit. A bunch of never have beens poking their chests out like they’re the best thing around.
You know, like South Carolina football from 2009-2013.

No one gives a shite about big 12 anything.
What the hell does next years football season have to do with baseball?
Does the big 12 not have a sports forum or do you post here to help fulfill your dreams of being part of a dominant conference?

No brownie points for having won more SEC baseball games than anyone else? Seems like it should be a factor for the all time best in conference. I haven't looked it up, but we may have played the most games because of the better weather early in the season. Fla is 1,014-662-2 in SEC games according to our pre-season media guide.

the Big 12/SWC was a better baseball conference for a long time and still are a good baseball conference. I don't think it's unreasonable to give them points for those conference titles. If you're singling out A&M, may as well include Arkansas as well, just saying.

If you remove conference titles from the equation
1. LSU (430)
2. South Carolina (312)
3. Florida (264)
4. Mississippi St (222)
5. Arkansas (200)
6. Texas A&M (156)
7. Missouri (152)
8. Alabama (138)
9. Georgia (130)
10. Vanderbilt (122)
11. Ole Miss (104)
12. Auburn (94)
13. Tennessee (78)
14. Kentucky (18)
Missouri has 152 pts - 116 of them are from 1952-1964

I don't see no disclaimer anywhere on this site that states you must be a sec fan to post here.

why don't we do brownie points for all time NCAAT record and record in Omaha? LSU is 40-27 at the CWS and 154-64 in the NCAAT. I'll tell you why it's not completely accurate to use all-time wins or record. There was no standard length of the NCAA season until somewhat recently. Wichita State used to have seasons where they played almost 90 games. Now, everyone has a standard 56 game schedule every year. You also have situations where some programs began playing baseball at different times. Bottom line, it's almost impossible to have a metric that is completely accurate and without potential bias because so much has changed in the sport over the years, whether it be format of the tournament, conference affiliations, length of schedule, etc.
But at the end of the day, the top 4 are going to remain largely unchanged regardless of what additional parameters you include or don't include.

I had conference win % and/or overall win % included but in the end that stuff is hard to quantify and it's already included in some many other things.
lsufball laid out why total wins is a terrible way to judge.

We allow fans of our conference to post here. Welcome! It's the closet to being a member of the SEC that you will ever get.

Nice thread. Can't believe how low Vandy is. Also shows you how good Alabama used to be. They are in a bad slump.

Just shows what a good job Corbin has done, as much as I dislike him. They only had 3 all-time NCAAT appearances before he took over.

Shows how good other programs have been for a long time. However, a few more successful runs to Omaha and they'll shoot up to the Top 4-6.

good Alabama used to be
Consistently good for 2 decades with a few runs of being elite and 2-3 other periods of being good pre-Wells.
The last 4 years have been embarassing. Hopefully Bo is turning it around.

That's incredible - especially considering it can be argued they've actually underachieved over the last 10 years given the talent they've brought in and pumped out to MLB.
Their recruiting pipelines are Sabanesque.
