Texas has more all time wins in college baseball than any sec team by far. Blueblood in cfb and cbb.

Blueblood in cfb

Texas has won 1 Football National Title in the last 50 years.

Alabama - 9
Florida - 3
LSU - 2
Auburn - 1
Georgia - 1
Tennessee - 1
Texas - 1

That is embarassing

Updated - using 4 pts for each "Regional Win" puts USC/UF in a tie and bumps UGA barely in front of Missouri. Everyone else slots out the same.

Question...when you say 4 points for a regional win, does that just mean from 1999-present? if not, you'd basically be double dipping for the years prior, as a regional win and CWS appearance are the same thing. I think one way to address that would be to lower CWS appearance to 4. That way, for years that predate the super regionals, you'd be getting 8 points total for a CWS appearance (same as your original metric), and only 4 points for winning a regional in years that don't predate the super regional round. Just a thought

That's nice. If this thread were ranking baseball teams from the Big12, the OP would be sure to get those numbers from you.

It was all years, and yes it is a double dip, but so are National Title/Runner Up & CWS & NCAAT.

So it just makes it all easier

Simple research says Texas is not a football blue blood, just a should have been. Sorry champ.

Now, like lsufb said, feel free to go discuss BXII baseball with Kansas State or Baylor folks.

Yawn. Michigan hasn't won either and they are still a considered one. Texas also has more all time wins in cfb than any sec team.

That's all well and good, but I'm still struggling to find how any of this is relevant to the thread.
