I was going to attach a gif. But this basically sums it up the chaos. Mizzou and SC fans know.

That’s short sighted and naive. The BIG and ACC are full of cupcakes. The SEC isn’t and it will lead to more losses. The playoff committee won’t give SEC teams bonus points for playoff 9 conference games

That’s where auto bids come into play, if there are 4 SEC autos then it doesn’t matter if your 10-2 or 8-4 if you’re 4th in the conference you’re in.

Poor lil Marky Stoops. The biggest whiner against 9 games. He of the 28-62 conference record no wonder. He gone.

The economics of home games get interesting now. We'll be flip-flopping between 4 home/5 away sec games

That's going to get rid of neutral site games for at least the seasons teams have 4 home games. You can't just have 6 home games total in a season. Bad for the local economy and team purse. Neutral site hosts are going to have to pony up a lot more money now

How is the money split for the neutral site games like UF/UGA and OU/TX? how much of the total do the teams get?

In 4 home game seasons they are guaranteed to only have 6 true home games

Those teams will get a lot more than Tennessee will ever get in a regular season game.

Exactly.

Georgia has been dodging A&M for over 13 years.

You gotta play at Kyle Field one of these days.

I can't even tell if this is bad snark or what? What point were you trying to get at?

The Vols played in the battle at Bristol with 150k fans

OU will have five “home” games the years they are the “home” team in Dallas (even numbered years, if I recall correctly), and Texas will have four home games that year. Same with the cocktail party.

I hope LSU gets Ole Miss, Texas A&M, and Arkansas.

So did Mickey pony up more money to the conference?

Also, I think this is a prelude to further conference expansion for the SEC.

FSU, Clemson, and two others from the ACC.

Big Ten mouthpiece trying to spin this. The SEC doubled down by going 9 + 1. Feels like it should shut the Mandels of the world up but instead it’s “SEC falls in line”

So why should mediocre teams be in the playoff?

But some will still be there. Witness last year's Indiana, SMU and Boise State.
