Honestly, no one really wants that, despite what Ole Miss fans say on here.
Would be a massive loss for the conference.
I fully disagree with this, FWIW. I think a lot of SEC University leadership and their respective fans have developed a not insignificant level of LSU fatigue.

The SEC has a terrible case of it.
The SEC had zero plan to handle the 5 for 5 ruling they knew was being litigated.
The SEC has multiple schools that have and are rostering former professional athletes.
The SEC had an opportunity to lead and dominate the NIL era, instead we're getting questions on whether the SEC has lost its mojo and the B1G has won 3 straight football national championships.
The SEC president has no idea how to define a professional athlete.
The SEC president was completely unfamiliar with the 5 for 5 rule.
I could keep going but it's obvious that the SEC is the institution that has a "lack of institutional control "

Speaking for only myself I’m fatigued by the whole system. LSU has played within the rules of that current system though. Precedents have been set. Stupid arse 5 in 5 rulings have been made at stupid arse times (6 days after players had to declare for the draft).
It’s all just so hypocritical. Fans of every other school would be wanting their coach to do the same thing Lane is doing. The fan base having the most fun with this had a quarterback sue the NCAA for another year of eligibility because of a case of tonsillitis 6 years ago.

So, the University President and Athletic Director are supposed to censor what a coach says at halftime? It just seems like Sankey got his feelings hurt because of the comment made by Kiffin.
