The only way I support expulsion is if Mizzou is forced to leave too. I feel like that could get a lot of bipartisan support

You think a majority of the fans of teams in the SEC would view expelling LSU as a positive for the conference? Really?

I think he meant about rioting. I wouldn't want LSU gone but at the same time Kiffin/LSU acting a fool when a lot of this could've and should've been kept in-house is not something I'm going to riot over. I'd be more like 'damn wish they were here.'

FA didn’t you.
FO you will.
FO you will.

In Sankey's mind, he's mad that the LA court case revealed what a fraud he is. That's what this is about.
And is trying hard to get sued by LSU.

Honestly, if the SEC is too soft to handle a joke, then see ya.

So, the University President and Athletic Director are supposed to censor what a coach says at halftime? It just seems like Sankey got his feelings hurt because of the comment made by Kiffin.
I am not a fan of it but we have fined the ever loving frick out of coaches criticizing refs for eons. It has been SEC policy to censor what coaches say for a very, very long time. IDK if that policy applies to other things because not criticizing refs is something that frequently come up but I would not be surprised at all.
It is pretty standard in the business world that you don't shite on your own company in public.

Give them all the power, comrade.
The troll kiffin showed you his true colors when he trolled the league office and then backed off. This is much, much less about incompetent sankey and more so about troll kiffin.

LSU would be crying their eyes out if this actually happened. Don’t let those T bobs fool you

i think the sec is angry because they say they have evidence that LSU encouraged players to sue the ncaa.
All of the "professional" football players in the Baton Rouge case fall into two categories:
1) Former player for Kiffin
2) Former player at LSU
The eligibliity claim for the one player at question in category 2 has become moot, as Plyburn was picked up off of waiver by the Chiefs.
So, the whole argument for the SEC is that Kiffin maintained a relationship with his former players.
OH, THE HUMANITY!!!!

This is a funny thread.

quote:I don’t think that is the whole argument. The reason that this case is being brought out is because the SEC feels like they’ve got some kind of evidence that LSU-Kiffin suggested to these players that they sue.

Did other schools do it? Maybe. But the sec is:
1. Pissed at LSU for the ole miss coach g situation
2. Convinced that they only have evidence on LSU.

This is crazy. I find it hard to believe that this is nothing more than a threat but crazier things have happened.

I would miss our SEC matchups and longtime rivalry traditions but if this is how Sankey wants to be than I’m totally fine with leaving to another conference or independent.

It’d be weird not playing SEC teams anymore, but that’s about it.

It's typical.
Isolate a group, blame all of the problems on them, then tell everyone else to give you the power so you can handle everything.
It's how dictatorships start every time.
Kiffin and LSU isolated themselves.
And you all cheered them while they did it. "Kiffin is rubbing his nuts across Sankeys face" and on and on.
