ACC is just not as good, as well. Sadly it's come to a situation where it's not smart to have extremely difficult out of conference games.

Ohio State / Texas will have enormous playoff implications in the beginning of the season.

Especially with that 9th SEC game. Sankey is a buffoon.

The ACC is also closer. Less distance for fans and players to travel for most of those programs - not to mention a good number are rivalries (Florida/FSU, Georgia/GA Tech, Kentucky/Louisville, South Carolina/Clemson).

Take rivalries out of the equation and it doesn't skew nearly so much towards ACC opponents (5 vs ACC, 4 vs B1G, 3 vs Big 12)

As odd as it sounds yes, and they were in the running for the Big 10 title last year. Naturally, during a major rebuild, we play them on the road this season.

We still haven't heard a legitimate reason as to why he has LSU and Butthurtolemiss playing on September19th instead of October 31st HALLOWEEN!

Not a fan of that town or campus. And how do you not have any good restaurants downtown (well, maybe a steakhouse)? Guy Fiere's? LOL

Do they play their former coach this year since they are in the same conference now.

Georgia Tech is an in-state rival for Georgia (and built a history of playing Tennessee when it was an in-conference opponent that continued on after their exit).

Clemson is an in-state rival for South Carolina

Louisville is an in-state rival for Kentucky

FSU is an in-state rival for Florida

If the other conferences would just be so kind as to have opponents in SEC states, that would really help some programs out with this.

Also...Missouri/Kansas will be a rivalry, even if Kansas were to join a conference based on Mars.

What were the ADs thinking for Minnesota vs Mississippi State?

A matchup nobody has ever asked for, yet somehow we do need. I’m watching that.

Yes, but all of those also chose to play a 2nd game against the SEC.
