It’s either gonna be 100% or 10%. It’s impossible to social distance at 50% capacity.

That's because you're dealing with a different level of intellect among the Fanbase that buys Season Tix, the typical GT Season Tix holder is smart enough to understand that Social Distancing is necessary, in fact they'd probably question the GT Athl Dept as to why they aren't taking Social Distancing into account

I seriously doubt it is 120,000 dead from Covid-19. Some of those numbers are flawed as hospitals have been writing down the cause of death when the person died didn't even have it. One local person died from a car accident and the hospital wrote it down as Covid-19. Another tried to do the same with another patient that died from heart failure. The family complained and the hospital wrote the correct cause of death. This is the stuff the media refuses to report.

I thought the “no fans in the stands” might be a real option, but with the current political situation and the NCAA going all in on it, I think the number of people who would watch (outside of their own teams) would be way down. Like watching 12 weeks of spring practice.

No word from athletic dept on LSU football. Ticket office called me last week to make sure that I got notice (email only this year) to renew LSU hoops tickets (due 7/10/20).

One of my favorite parts about the internet is when people look incredibly idiotic and dumb when they are trying to make a point about how intelligent and great they are.

Thanks for the laugh

Nothing so far from MSU. I have a feeling they are going to reseat a lot of season ticket holders to provide for distancing and put the students in the upper decks. I don’t think it will matter tho because I don’t think the season is actually going to happen

How long have you been hiding in your house? Actually are you going to hide in your house until a vaccine comes out for a virus with a .2% fatality? You know Sweeden never shut down and they didn't have a slew of deaths except for people 80+ right?

It will be 100% or 0%. No school in the conference has the manpower to keep people separated once inside the stadium. Early in the second quarter, everyone will be sitting between the 30s.

Received an e-mail from Auburn at the end of April stating that if the season were cancelled, season ticket holders would have the option of a refund of their ticket priority contribution and the cost of their tickets or converting both to a fully tax-deductible donation. If the season is materially altered, same as the above, but on a pro-rata basis. In light of a bad situation, that seems pretty fair.

Received a survey a couple of weeks ago asking under what circumstances we'd feel comfortable attending games...Should there be reduced capacity? Should stadium personnel wear masks? Should fans wear masks? I basically told them I would likely attend if they had the games.

With respect to a "no fans" option, that doesn't make sense to me. Theoretically, that might work for pro sports, but you can't have college football unless student-athletes and non-student-athletes are back on campus. IMHO, if the kids are going to parties and doinking each other in the dorms (virus or no virus, both will happen), you might as well allow fans at games.
