I'm actually excited for coaching to now play a factor and not just relying on 18 year olds to "figure it out".

I hope he hires some good assistants. Should bring Welch back.

That's a start. Another SEC team that knows something about offense. College basketball reminds me of a tractor pull.

Is Farmer still in prison?

Could be an interesting support staff.

Least they could lock down the "Dandy Diamond" again that Cal pooped on.

BYU is a traditional college basketball powerhouse known for meeting expectations and Pope has a similar record to Cal in the NCAAT the last couple of years.

I’m sure it will work out fine, like cal never left.

Agreed! He lost to Duquesne in the tournament only because his guys didn’t have Kentucky across their chest.

Was he the first choice…frick no. But, he’s my coach now…no more not guarding ball screens…no more not playing in bound plays…no more not making adjustments!
I'm convinced Mitch hired Pope because there's actual scout tape of Pope's teams all the way back to Utah Valley of being able to play a 2-3 zone defense - along with guarding a ball screen - unlike the coach who took another job earlier this week -

Your current evolution into Jet Dawg is amusing to watch, congrats! Honestly I didn’t think it was possible for another adult male to be that horrible at opinions but I stand corrected

I think you are probably right. Apparently he's already been contacted by 2 players about transferring in.

"Screw it I'm in" and "Pope" in the same statement seems wrong.
