Sarkisian is the heir apparent at Bama, not Kiffin.

Why hire the protege' when you can have the original? It'll be a bidding war, because Texas has deep pockets.

People just assume any coach wants to come and take over for the greatest coach of all time.

That’s a tough ask. If you go 2-3 years without a title your seat is warm.

Think about what a new Bama coach has to do to even be mentioned as the 3rd best coach in their history

Exactly.

I pity the man that takes that job. He will be fired in within two years once he has a 9 win season.

It will take two generations of fans to recalibrate expectations for Bama.

Maybe if Texas was still in a lesser conference, but now they're in the SEC I don't think Texas is a stepping stone job... even if their program history isn't close to Bama's.

Bama, Texas and Ohio St I believe are the only 3 schools if things are going well, no coach would leave that school

They have everything they could possibly want and their school could outbid anyone

Sark won’t leave Texas. Kiffin will
Coach at Alabama and I hope he brings Jeremy Pruitt with him as DC! Unbeatable combination and I can’t believe Auburn didn’t hire them
Both.
