Colin had strip sack on the first series and then OU told their tackles to
Hold the f out of him. Don't blame them but he should have seen 3-4 flags that were obvious.

Not why we lost

so fricking weird. Muschamp is the reason this team isn't 2-3

Do you guys really think it’s Muschamp or the defense in general.

Obviously I think the defense is clearly the strength if the team. Just not sure if you guys really think Muschamp is what is driving that.

He might just be taking heat off arch. Giving the media something tough to chew so he doesn’t have distractions or tough questions. They really need a win against Florida and I think the gators gonna be playing desperate, they’ll be a tough out at noon.

Well TX has a Heisman contender at QB so maybe Sark has a point. The offense didn't allow that last second FG - the defense did.

You mean Arch throwing an interception with 19 seconds left had nothing to do with the game ending FG that just sounds stupid to me no way in hell Oklahoma kicks the game winning FG in regulation if Arch doesn't throw that interception.

Muschamp should tell him to gfhs.
He probably does exactly that, everyday. Muschamp is probably a top 3 DC over the last 20 years.

That defense went soft in crunch time and let Mateer move them over 30 yards to kick that FG.

Without Texas defense they lose to Tenner by 14+

If Sark, the QB whisperer and offensive Guru, doesnt work out how to run his offense functionally theyre not anywhere close to done losing games.

I posted this in a thread a few days ago but the top tier HC in the sport whenever they have a massive problem one season they always make it a priority to not only fix that problem but usually make it a strength the following season.

Texas couldnt run the ball last year at all and they look like they might be worse

Texas OL played poorly last year despite having all the talent you could need and they seem to be about the same maybe even worse in pass pro

Arch Manning didnt look like a 3 year in a system QB last year, he often threw with poor mechanics and rarely set his feet planted flat in the direction of his throw which his how you get accuracy. If you watch Gunner vs Bama last weekend nearly every throw he makes his feet are absolutely perfectly set and it is why he was able to deliver some absolute fricking dimes in very tight windows.

Arch hasnt gotten better, if anything he has regressed. I put most of this on Sark

No way. He sucks as a head coach. Great DC though...Sark needs to get the offense fixed or his seat is going to heat up big time by the end of this season and he's going to have to fire 1 or 2 of his bros on the offensive/ special teams staff.
I don't understand why the offense is so mediocre. They have the second coming of Jesus at QB. Tom Brady wished he had the coaching Arch has. He might have made something outta his self!

Arch should be moved to TE. He would be a killer TE with his 6 foot 4 frame and 4.6 forty speed.

He will make 2-3 throws a game that are absolutely stellar and make your jaw drop but the rest of the time he is a G6 level QB. The game is still way too fast for him.

Texas fired a DC who finished inside top 10 of total defense last year . The dude wants Kirby or Venables to coach his defense lol.

I do appreciate you guys continuing the long time Texas internet fan tradition of griping about OU holding (when Texas loses this game).

It just wouldn't feel right if you guys didn't.

It feels weird enough that Texas fans no longer complain about OU paying their players.

Pete K was fired because his pass defense consistently ranked around #100. Lone exception was 2024 when he ranked #7 because we basically played a season of garbage QBs.

Muschamp's D didn't have a single thing to do with a OU ST TD and Manning throwing a Pick 6.

Agree with that and Sarks offensive play calling is bad in the passing game. They always stall out in the redzone. Without the running game being better than average this season, their redzone numbers would be terrible...

He needs to simplify the offense. Maybe put Arch in a shotgun Zone read type offense like they did with Vince Young back in the day. Give him 2 options to pass the ball too, and if it isn't there, run it. No more slow developing plays, no more asking him to scan the whole field, just look for the 2 receiving options and if they aren't open take off. Arch was playing against slow defensive players in High School, the speed of the game is way too much for him in Colege. It was a huge step up.

Have you been reading the AU board? Almost verbatim what we've been saying about B.Brown.

Arch and Byrum have a lot in common. Arch just needs to come up with a signature TD celebration move to make it complete.
