We'd have other teams come with us to make a league. More would want NIL rules than not.

While I agree with that in general for me, that’s not for me to decide for, or prescribe to, anyone else.

Maybe framing such comments suggestions or recommendations will help your reputation here, if you care at all. If not, I apologize for even mentioning it.

Going forward the SEC will be behind the Big 10. Sankey is not pro active at all. It is, what it is.

The Big Ten adding schools like Washington and Oregon is a desperation move. The SEC adds no monetary value by making moves like that. At this point the only additions that would move the needle are Ohio State, Michigan, or Penn State.

I don't understand why Sankey still has his job. I don't know anybody who really thinks he is doin a good job. Not sure how much longer the university presidents and chancellors are going to put up with him. He is contracted to 2028 and makes around $4 million a year. The SEC is not getting what it is paying for.

Secondly, it would be boring as hell if we left the NCAA and played an SEC only schedule.

& yet people gripe about not playing certain teams sooner.

Look into Holy Orthodoxy
Did y'all cover for the pedophile priests like the Roman Catholics?

ETA - never mind. I asked Grok:

Yes, there have been cases of child sexual abuse involving Eastern Orthodox (Holy Orthodox) priests and clergy, including some high-profile scandals with cover-up allegations, though they have generally received less widespread international media attention and systematic investigation than those in the Roman Catholic Church.

Our priests are allowed to be married. Weird that pedophilia is on your mind.

The "halcyon days” are gone in CFB and sports in general... Especially regional tribalism and the guise of AMATEURISM from a lost and probably obtuse naivety.

Sure, expand, keep chasing the solution to put the genie back in the bottle... But its gone...the apex of the sport (2000-2010) ain't coming back...your life is a Playoff and you've already lost if you keep obsessing over this because its gone and never was that important.

Don't turn this on me. Your Church is one that turned their head to sexual child abuse and mine didn't. I would have trouble even listening to a priest that is a part of that Church. Shame on y'all.

What are you talking about? I’ve never heard of instances where the Orthodox Church turned a blind eye to pedophilia.

Even if there are instances, there are instances like that at every church. What “church” do you belong to? Let me guess, you go to a strip mall Baptist Church where the “preachers” bring out snakes to bite the members of the congregation in some kind of backwoods, redneck Protestant service that takes place right after the 45 minute Ted talk/misinterpretation of scripture and before the contemporary Christian rock concert. You really trying to say that Protestant preachers don’t diddle little kids? How many private jets does Andy Stanley have because of ignorant rednecks like you?

Global Methodist. We are only a couple of years old. Broke away from the United Methodist Church because they are heathens like any church that covers up for child molestation. If you've never heard of it in your denomination, you need to fix Grok. I know a little bit about Stanley. Our preacher is 6'5" and drives a beater Subaru.
