First and foremost SEC needs another round of expansion. Secondly, it would be boring as hell if we left the NCAA and played an SEC only schedule. Hate to admit it, but the BIG 10 has been proactive and are kicking our arse in Nattys in NIL era. 24 team playoff would be fun as hell. Regular season is still fun as hell. 12 team playoff teams are still getting screwed. Wtf is he doing right now

BTW, we still haven't heard a peep from Sankey as to why he has LSU and Ole Miss scheduled on Sept.19th, instead of Saturday October 31st Halloween!

You guys need to worry less about SEC football and more about going to church, taking care of your families, taking care of your health, and saving for retirement.
If college football becomes an unwatchable product you will find another form of entertainment. Trust me.

Look into Holy Orthodoxy, be as present with your wife and kids as you can be when you get to spend time with them. A good diet and regular cardio are helpful. Find a good finance guy that you trust. Buy real estate in a good location with good local schools.

I believe what he and Kirby were saying is that if the SEC could find a way to make the numbers work where they are making the same as they make in the current structure, they'd love to do their own thing.
If successful, it would be the stepping stone to the BIG10 doing the same thing and then combining with the SEC with their own college football premier league separate from the NCAA and making their own rules, regulations, contracts, punishments, and playoffs. Something like the NFL's NFC and AFC. But it would be Big10 and SEC.
The SEC splitting off on its own wouldn't be the end goal, it would be one step in a process to the real end goal.
