This is one of the best things about having Petrino back in the saddle IMO. That there are so many people out there that don't like him, albeit based on stuff well in the past. I'm tired of being the "integrity" school with the good ol' boy head coach everyone loves because he's their whipping boy and just takes it with a smile. Love Sam as a person but we need a head coach with a killer instinct, whether that ends up being Bobby or someone else.

I am still trying to figure out how Pittman let oklahoma state come back an beat them in stillwater last year. Should have been fired then.

I wouldn't blame Petrino for that. The whole team was dragging and had their heads down. Been a rough two weeks for that team.

lol Pittman had no trouble beating vols either. However, I fully expect vols to snap the losing streak to hogs. We don’t have a defense. Petrino may put up points but our defense isn’t stopping a thing

Give Sam Pittman credit. He took over a god awful football team, won some SEC games, couple bowl games. He fell short of a 11 win season in 2021. Literally a 2 point conversion vs Ole Miss and late drive vs BAMA. He did an admirable job.
I’d take the year off and go to the beach. He’ll land a job somewhere when he’s ready.
