8 carries for 100 (!) yards.
12.5 yards per and you only let him tote it 8 times!
If they ain't stopping it don't stop it for them.
Alabama lost for the same reason Stanford lost. Arrogant and stubborn play calling. I really can't believe how thoroughly Nick has been out coached in the past 2 games.

Saban doesn't wanna play that pussy, run for 500 yards football.

I was hard on their last TD drive, 3 straight runs with Yeldon, chewed up about 2 minutes of clock.
Screen pass to Henry, boom 61 yard TD

Saban believes in balance for balance's sake.

No doubt. No one wanted Bammer to lose more than me, and even I was yelling at the TV when they were trying to force McCarron passes instead of letting Henry run the ball.

There's no reason to pass when you can pound the rock.

Exactly! The guy touched the ball 9 times, scored 2 TDs and accounted for 161 yards. That's damn near 18 yards per. Okie looked absolutely lost trying to tackle the guy as well. I'd be worried about him next year, but he'll probably still be riding the pine.

I hope not.

7.5 Million..
Let that sink in.
7.5 Million to coach like that.

We've won 3 national championships since he's been in Tuscaloosa, he's paid appropriately. We aren't supposed to win every single game.

I suppose so.
But I'm beginning to wonder how much stems from shear talent opposed to scheming and gameday coaching abilities. He seems stubborn as frick.

As a Gator fan I appreciate paying a coach who gets 10 or more wins and gets paid like that.
Now, when a coach gets that kind of money to go 4 and 8...well, now we have a problem.

Unbelievable.
He's a fantastic program manager and one of the best recruiters ever, but gameday coaching is not his strong suit.

That's obviously the most important aspect of college coaching.

Don't let common sense get in your way.

So if a team is favored in every game they play, your argument is they aren't supposed to win every game? That's very interesting.

A lot.....but who recruits and signs that talent? Saban is still the best recruiter in the nation if not always the best gameday coach.

Name a team that has never lost a game whether they were favored or not. It's impossible to never lose a game.
Common sense brah.
