Sorry SEC. He's not going away any time soon. You're just going to have to figure out how to compete with him.

Saban is addicted to the amount of sway he holds over the conference and football in general. Egomaniac

Same was said by Bowden and Paterno before running their respective dynasties into the ground beyond repair.

Paterno deserves all the criticism he gets for the pedo crap, but his teams went 11-2 and ranked in the top 10 two years in a row when he was 82 and 83 years old before O’Brien took over.

When it hits you, it hits you fast. I retired last year. I just suddenly realized I had had enough. Hard to know exactly when it will hit you.

If we base it on being able to just recruit the best class in NCAA college football history, it apparently hasn't hit coach Saban just yet.

And ten-hundred-thousand times that many who are angry, pissed off, insecure and liquored up across the south with the news.

All coaches lie. Example

quote:

“We’re going to beat their arse in recruiting,” Orgeron was heard saying after the 2019 win. “We’re going to beat their a– every time they see us. You understand me? Roll Tide what? F— you!”

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again:

Saban will die on the field like an old warrior on the battlefield.

If it happens it happens. Saban has earned the right to stay as long as he wants. Even if that means past when he’s capable of doing it at a high level.

The LSU fans on here are gigantic pussies about anything saban. He’s the fricking goat. Deal with it. We’re lucky to get a shot at him every November.

How many times has Saban personally made LSU quit? And he loves them. Jesus, the rest of the country is seriously fricked.

Miss Terry will tell him when to retire. She doesn’t want him around the house right now.

I agree. It just hits fast when it does. One day the routine crap we all have to deal with gets tiring and you just say the heck with it. I've got enough money and could be golfing right now. I was cruising along making good money, but my kids were done with college, my 401K was good, I was 62, and the politics at work were getting to me more than normal. I gave 6 months notice to transition my successor and said goodbye.
