The truth is Alabama had the lead in the fourth and could not hold on. Now was it players not being prepared, poor coaching decisions in the 4th, a combination of both, who knows.
Injuries are part of the game, and Alabama very easily could have won the NC last season despite the injuries.
Alabama did not, Georgia won and won the NC, enjoy it. For UGA it does not come along very often.

If all of your QBs were healthy, then the starter wasn't your backup QB. Pickens played in the SEC and NC games, so he was good.

Our starter was hurt most of the season. Our backup took over due to injuries to the starter, and then he beat bama with clutch 4th Q throws.

One thing I know. Put a healthy Williams and Metchie out there, and UGA does not win either game.
UGA could not cover one of them, much less both. and struggled to win the rematch pretty much sans either. None of you will admit it. but Young would have picked you apart again.
It might have been over at halftime the way it went as it is.
