Day said he "made a lot of calls after the game" with officials regarding the non-targeting penalty on Marvin Harrison Jr. in the CFP semifinals. Said he disagreed when told it wasn't targeting.

it's one thing to stick up for your team and try to show that you've always got their back. It's another to be a complete buffoon and ignore actual reality. He looks like a dumbass here when anyone with eyes can see that it was in fact not targeting.

It wasn't targeting. He can stay salty about it.

In my maturity I have gotten really good at resisting the temptation to judge a person on their appearance, but Ryan Day looks like an AI rendering of the input "douchebag bond villain with sharpie beard clown bitch"

he brought this up at signing day. Makes him look Charmin-soft. The more Ryan Day bring this up, the worse it makes him look. You were wrong then, you are wrong now - and you are solidifying your reputation as a soft coach w/ a soft team. SEC continues to

The ironic thing is that MHjr is being less of a baby about it than he is

It sucks a great player got hurt and I get why that gnaws at him....but it wasn't a penalty. Continually talking about it makes you sound like a loser who also doesn't know the rules.

Reading the comments in that thread is cringe inducing. The OSU fans are like LSU fans on steroids complaining about refs without the trophy case.

I get that he's upset. His player was standing still and an easy target due to a duck pass/tipped ball (can't tell exactly which) floating up toward the back of the endzone.
UGA's defense saw that Harrison had a play on the ball and two players were there. One pushed him with his hands, the other lined up a big shoulder to shoulder hit which caused it to not be caught.
It was a big, violent hit. But it was leading with a shoulder and if their helmets even touched, it was very slightly well after the impact with the shoulder. It was more a concussion from whiplash than a helmet to helmet impact.
It simply isn't a targeting penalty.

I'm sure he isn't complaining about the blatant holding by his OL that wasn't called by the refs.

I forgot. This is just the second of 10 championships in the next 15 years for you guys. Forgive me for reminding you of the fickleness of The Football Gods. I humbly beseech thee, don't hurt me, Football Overlord. Focus your anger and might on UForfeit.
