Some post make me laugh out loud with the idiocy of some supposed football fans. This is one.

frick that. TCU didn’t belong and UGA made sure they knew and more importantly the committee knew to never let a team in with that shitty of a schedule ever again.

I was speaking in reference to Sonny Dykes and his statement about SEC Scheduling a week or so ago. He should have just kept his mouth shut.

Lol they didn't. It honestly could've been worse. TCU was dead once it became 31-7 and were completely rolled by the backups in the second half.

The backups. Can't blame Georgia for that

Maybe you guys need to learn defense and to tackle the backups better. Also, in the 4th quarter you guys should have just ran the ball instead of throwing. I would assume that have you done that UGA would have followed the concession.

LOL! You’re so full of shite OP. You call yourself “The Citadel Fan” & “Utah!”

Citadel beat VA-Lynchburg 66-0

And Utah beat Southern Utah 73-7.

You can EAD, hypocrite.

It was TCU DC job to keep Georgia from scoring not Kirby's.

I agreed that hall should’ve run the score up on them. Were you attempting to respond to someone else?

Not even. Sevaughn Clark is a preferred walk on. He is a senior, so he got the reps ahead of another preferred walkon (cash). This is the 7th running back on the depth chart.

I'm firmly against running up the score to embarrass an opponent. But at the same time, if you're putting in back ups, even walk on's and practice squad players? Let them play. And let them excel. You can't tell them to dial it down.

And if the opponents can't stop back-ups, that's on them. Never tell a kid who has been busting his arse all year to get a chance in a game, to play badly so the other team feel better about themselves, IMO. Play hard and let the chips fall.

But going for 2, onside kicks, etc. That's running it up to embarrass.

Take one look at the Arkansas-Kansas box score. That is why you don't completely let off the gas. And all those backups get to talk about playing in, not watching, the national championship.

If I've ridden the pine all year I'm absolutely trying to catch my coaches attention when I get snaps.

If UGA had left their starting QB in the whole game and lobbed bombs into the end zone with under 2 minutes to play, then yeah that is running up the score.

But they didn't. They emptied the bench and the UGA second and third string were better than TCU. You can't put kids out on the field and then tell them not to play hard.

UGA could have scored again if they had wanted to and instead kneeled out the clock.

It's likely there'll be plenty more blowouts in the 12-team CFP.

UGA scored with about 90 seconds left in the first half to go up 31-7. 24 points is a mountain but has happened before. TCU, to their credit, was aggressive with their next possession and messed around and threw an INT that lead to another UGA TD just before the end of the half to send UGA up by 31...and TCU actually took the last kickoff before the half and tried to run the ball a couple of times instead of getting into the locker room to regroup. Probably a moot point by then down by 31 but they did it. They then came out in the 3rd and tried to score and went for it on 4th down at midfield or on their side of the 50 at least twice in the second half leading to more UGA points. Bennett took one snap in the 4th and UGAs second and worse stringers took it to TCU who had basically given up on the field and wasnt even trying any longer...had TCU ran the ball between the tackles from the start of the third the score would have probably been around 45 or so to 14 instead of the debacle it was....but to TCUs credit they tried to score and it cost them dearly...

If they couldn't stop our 2nd string from scoring and our 2nd string defense had 2 sacks, how was that running up the score?
