It seems like you’re a bleeding vagina who’s upset that Alabama is better than LSU this year and you’re holding it against me.

Some parity is good for the sport. I think Alabama should attempt to improve their baseball program, they're one of the few SEC programs that aren't really investing in baseball at this point.

That post is accurate. Most sports fans don't care about college baseball or softball.

Holy shite what a melt! A guy makes a post about softball and the board’s max-spectrum poster lashes out about a three-year-old post about….baseball. Imagine being that fricked up- just wow.

Softball is big in certain parts of the country.

I enjoy going to Georgia softball games but at the same time I realize that Georgia does not consider Softball to be a priority sport.

In contrast, Georgia men's and women's tennis teams have won a combined 64 SEC titles and 17 national titles.

So when Georgia beat the OU softball team the other night it truly was a significant upset.

Upon first glance, I have no immediate issues with the order of the top 16, nor with the order of top 4.

Texas got more of a bump up than I predicted they would for winning the SEC tournament -- or seemingly did, I should say, because I tend to downplay SOS because I don't like the NCAA's formula as much as others, and I should know better. It's not like they're suddenly going to start giving weight to, say, the Massey formula out of nowhere. By the metrics they're supposed to use, Texas absolutely earned the overall #2, and it likely wasn't all due to the conference tournament results.

Likewise, Bama earned the #1.

I'm interested in analyzing the entire top 32 just because they're actually seeded that far down for the first time. It'll take some time to go through it.

The only thing that immediately sticks out as being manipulated for ratings is the potential A&M @ Texas Super Regional, just because it happens between those two schools way too much to be coincidence.

Good one.

That IS kind of funny.... considering LSU leads the nation in attendance for women's gymnastics.

Fully expected, better record and 2 and 2 vs. Texas. I think beating FSU twice helped get the nod. I still think OU might win it, their hitting has been down a bit lately.
