I don’t think it’s been announced yet officially… but is it the general consensus that Arkansas-LSU is headed back to Thanksgiving weekend with Missouri playing Oklahoma? It appears from the already announced games that has to be the case.

If so, rivalry weekend looks like this:

Alabama vs Auburn
Ole Miss vs Miss St
Texas vs Texas A&M
Arkansas vs LSU
Missouri vs Oklahoma
Tennessee vs Vanderbilt
Florida vs Florida St
Georgia vs Georgia Tech
Kentucky vs Louisville
S Carolina vs Clemson

Yes. With Bobby Petrino coming back to Arkansas the world has healed itself and LSU-Arkansas will move back to Thanksgiving where it rightfully belongs.

Just doesn't feel right without having Arkansas-Missouri on rivalry weekend.

I'm not joking, I want a secret group of operatives to steal that damn trophy and destroy it, or sell it on the dark web and give the money to war refugees

Totally not joking. Want it. Want it to happen.

I'm rooting for a crime!

Looks like a solid lineup across the board.

This just feels dumb when both programs have a legitimate rival they should be playing on Thanksgiving

You can thank piggies like Harry for bitching enough in the last decade about this "not being a rivalry." Maybe if you'd win every now and then you'd feel differently, but everyone knows that ain't happening, including SEC schedule-makers.

I guess Arky was tired of losing to the Mizzou Tigers on Thanksgiving weekend. Back to losing to another set of Tigers I guess.

We LSU fans agree. Our rivals are variations of Tulane, Ole Miss, Bama, and at least for me UForfeit. Melt that giant waste of space down.

Now, it doesn't mean we shouldn't play as a matter of tradition.

Mizzou fans are clearly upset about it.

Arky was depressed the first few years, but they've gotten used to the beatings over the decade.

Now, having to wear diaper-shite brown (burnt orange) every day? That's depressing.

I assure you, we were never excited to play Mizzou.

Not our job to make piggy GAF. That's an Arky problem.

True. However, if Arkansas can play Mizzou earlier in the season, before our team has quit and apathetic, we can win more games. I think that’s been our major problem against Mizzou.

Alabama vs Auburn - 88 games

If Tennessee/Vandy...and Georgia/GT stopped playing each other in 1994, they still would have played each other more than Bama/Auburn have up to this point.

Don't get used to it. If we only play 8 conference games going forward, some of those games won't be played every year (unless we do something stupid like the Big Ten).
