Man oversaw a great run by the conference and tremendous growth. RIP Mike Slive, he's headed to the big REC in the sky.

Damn. Was the commissioner during this league's golden era. Had to be doing something right.

Kramer and Slive are greats of this conference

The man that brought Texas A&M in to the SEC. Couldn't be more thankful for this man's vision.

Sad to hear that. Ushered in the SEC being the best football conference in the country and changes in basketball to push it forward too.

I know he was dealing with some health issues. Did it ever get reported what was wrong?
