Yea I mean he's a dude you want to see succeed because he plays his guts out, but it's like they want to keep him at tackle because they are nervous about other options and so they never turned him into a power guard. And so his career just turned into a guy who isn't quick enough at tackle and isn't powerful enough at guard.

It was good watching someone who still fought till the end last night. Max took some blows too even though he was up and down that game, pretty understandably from how the OL performed and having zero run game support.

You couldn’t be more correct. The other thing that I saw is that when that first big play happens to the defense it seems to kill their confidence. They were a completely different looking unit out there after the 75 yd td that tied the score at 7. The coaches seem unable to adapt and respond in game. After the game they have all the answers. It reminds me of a clip I’ve seen of Sean Payton being yelled at by Bill Parcells when SP was a coordinator. He tells SP to give him the answers now instead of after the game.
